Handle Falling Off & NOT covered by warranty – I purchased the 71cm Antler Aeon Air suitcase in 2011 and was quite happy with the product, but about 3 years later I noticed the stitching around the handle on the side of the suitcase (long end) was coming undone. I let it go as the suitcase was still usable, but earlier this year, with one end of the handle just hanging on I thought I should probably make a warranty claim as Antler luggage comes with a 10 year warranty. I sent the claim via the internet to Antler but in the meantime I was on an interstate trip and realised there was an Antler repair agent nearby so I took it there. The agent had a look and needed to confirm repairs under warranty. Imagine my shock to discover that handles are NOT covered under the warranty. Suitcase handles are integral to the use of the case and if they are not covered what is? I have suitcases purchased 13 years ago, that have been used twice as much as this one, and they refuse to die. The excuse for not covering repairs to the damaged handle is that the warranty only covers manufacturing faults . . . my problem is that manufacturing faults would probably be picked up within the first couple of uses, it would not take 10 years to discover them, so the 10 year warranty offered is a joke, an empty promise. Items sold should be fit for purpose. The purpose of a suitcase is to be used in travel and handled from the handles. IT HAS FAILED. The irony is that it would have cost Antler $15.00 to have it repaired by the repair agent and they would then have had a happy customer. I will definitely not be buying another Antler suitcase to replace this one.

Purchased in for $167.

5 years and still going strong! – I've had 45cm and 64cm for probably 5 years now and they are fantastic! I have travelled frequently with them and they have never failed. The expansion part is great when I do a little too much shopping but generally keeps me within the 15kg limit. I would highly recommend if you find these second hand to buy!

Customer Service AAA+++++ – Emailed Antler customer service for assistance with a replacement for the extension handle on our large suitcase (not a product fault, taxi driver picked up very heavy, fully laden, suitcase by said handle - no suitcase extension handle is designed to withstand this) and damaged one of the springs that retracts the handle. Received an immediate return email from Michael at Antler who, upon establishing we are out of range of a repair service, mailed us a replacement handle the very same day with no questions asked.

I cannot speak more highly of their faultless, courteous customer service. Thank you Michael, you're a credit to your company.

Very Very good cases – I purchased 4 of these cases in 3 sizes for the family. Put them to the test in Europe for 3 weeks. Stood up to heavy use throwing in and out of Trains, Planes and Automobiles. Bumped up and down stairs and escalators, wheeled around a few kilometeres, and they held up well with no visible scuffs and marks, and totally intact. Would highly recommend them, just wait till they go on sale!!!

breaks after 2 trips – This suitcase is probably fine if you don't want to lock it. We purchased two a few months back and both have developed faults in the exact same spot - the part on the zip where you feed a lock through is not strong enough to hold a standard metal lock. On one bag, after 2 flights, this part of the zip is completely broken and unable to take a lock after just 2 flights. On the other bag, the exact same spot has also been damaged after just one flight - though not completely broken yet, it is very mangled and twisted and I fear it will only be a matter of one more flight before this one breaks completely too. I'll be going to back to tried and true Eagle Creek suitcases after this experience... it looks nice and has a good amount to space zip ends break and become unlockable
