water heater doesn't work after only 6 yrs. I've been quoted $1500 to fix it. I've has enough of this brand of water heater and I'm getting rid of this lemon and going with a better quality non stainless tank hot water heater. My other hot water heaters had glass lined tanks and lasted 15yrs.

Reliable and long lasting – I recently replaced an old Aquamax Stainless Steel gas hot water system with a new Aquamax G340SS. as it lasted for 16-17 years. I think the little more to pay for the stainless steel tank is worth it for the reliability and long lasting performance.

Old one gave up the ghost new one needed – We rang out local Gasworks as our old system gave up the ghost on a weekend, so on the Monday we contacted them and were told this unit was the go. Great service getting it installed very quickly and was checked again the next day. Service was great and price was reasonable as well.  Show details

Same thing!!! – We bought the 340ss Aquamax 3 years ago and I tried to get the plumber who installed it out to check out why it blew out too much. He never came as they do and now it's blown out five time in the last three weeks. Rheem wants $411 to install new temperature adjust for the pilot light. That is not good, for us anyway. Aquamax g270ss – Had the smaller gas aquamax installed two weeks ago and have had to relight it every night since it's been installed. Now have the hassle of contacting them to get them to come out and a look at it. Problem is I'm too busy right now. And yes it was installed by a qualified plumber. Have had aquamax come out and change thermostat and igniter and so far is working perfect. Right size for 2 people.  Show details

Terrible – Very disappointed with both the product and the service over the phone at aquamax. They were not interested in helping as the problems are 'parts'and the warranty only covers 1 year for parts! amount of water let off, and always thought something was wrong but kept getting told its fine. Clearly it's not!

jazz – Shocking. Just got installed only couple of days ago. Plumber gave up as flam goes off without any reason. Plumber checked the gas presure as per recomendations from company's service department. Still not working. Hopefully, some one from company will come to check as my plumber has called service department but I think, we have to wait, till their technician comes. Till then, No hot water. Steel tank and the price Flam goes off for no reason

Excellent – This system is fantastic when using for solar you add one more preheat tank and a pump kit and a couple panels!! Can be used with solar gas pressure has to be perfect to work proprelly
