In the bin when it stopped working – I'm pedantic about following manufacturers instructions- how I used it, washed it, what implements I used with it, what oils- but after a couple of years it just stopped being non-stick. It failed on an egg dish first, just slightly, so I carefully cleaned it and continued using it. Sticking got worse very quickly. Last dish was a potato and onion cake. Stuck so bad I knew it was over. So stuck to the bottom I didn't even bother to clean the pan before letting it cool and putting it in the bin. Won't use this brand again.

Lasted longer than any other pan – We have an induction cooktop and for some reason the plans never last long. However I have been very happy with the arcosteel hard ionised pan that my husband purchased some time ago. The surface has remained non stick for years. I feel it is due for a replacement relatively soon but I have been extremely happy with the quality of this plan. It has outlasted at least one other very expensive pan during it's life time. I'm not a fan of hand washing and this product has withstood the harshness of our dishwasher. I have purchased many expensive brands but will stick with arcosteel brand now that I have discovered it! Hopefully we can see this range across more retailers in the future!

Best Ever – I bought a 30cm Chef's Choice at Woolworths when my Scanpan gummed up.This one has a metal handle, not plastic. It is the best fry pan I've ever owned, and I've had some expensive pans in my time. Cooks beautifully. So easy to clean, Brilliant. I'd never buy another kind. D.S.

Still true, five years later. Wouldn’t be without it.
Above average Fry Pan for a bargain price – I purchased this in Woolies for $20. I used it in accordance with the manufacturer's specificaiton - wooden/nylon utensils only, and no oil sprays. I used it in a gas hob. For the first 12 months of use, it was fantastic. You can fry an egg without any oil. Cleaning the pan is such a breeze. You can finish cooking in the oven if you have to, thanks to its stainless steel handle. It was a dream to use.
Now 18 months down the track, it has lost its super non-stick properties. You can still fry eggs, but you have to use some oil now. It sticks a bit, but with a little nudge, you can easily take it out. I can still fry stuff, but it's not as good as what it was when I first bought it. Nevertheless it is still a good pan. It has a 10 year warranty which covers defects and abnormal deterioration, but it doesn't cover normal wear and tear though.
In my experience Arcosteel is as good as other more expensive pans. In my opinion it's even durable than Tefal. But as with all non-stick pans, the performance degrades over time, but 18 months after my purchase, I am still happily using it. I'd buy it again this when It's on special in Woolies.
