Arnott's Chocolate Monte

Fortunately I bought them on sale at coles for $2.75 - that softened my disappointment at what had been my favourite childhood biscuit treat, which bears no resemblance to my memory. Just bought some chocolate Monte biscuits and found that they have shrunk in size. They are so small now they may as well downsize the packaging as well. The chocolate coating also appears to have changed, not as nice. Disappointing for a product I have been buying for over 40 years. Show details

Ripped off – These biscuits are now about 50% smaller in diameter and the price has gone up. What a ripoff. Show details

Reduced product size – Although the heading states “discontinued” a packet was purchased on July 5 at Coles Manly. Although still tasting excellent these biscuits have shrunk by at least 33.33% and now represent extremely poor value for money. Show details

arnotts think customers are stupid – Always been a long time buyer of arnotts biscuits but they think the consumer are stupid. Recently bought chocolate monte and nice biscuits, the size has shrunk at least 20%, yet they still pack them in the same wrappers. 20% less but still charge the same or more.
