I haven't had Iced Vovos for years, so I decided to buy a packet. I was very disappointed with them. They are now a shadow of what they use to be. The biscuit is not as nice, but worse is the topping. They use to have a good thick topping, but now it's more like a thin smear of topping. Shrink flation has struck hard with most of Arnotts biscuits. Very dissapointing. Compromising the quality of your product will loose you more customers than increasing the price while maintaining the quality.
Follow-up · Just think of the Iced Vovos of old and make a terribly cheap, subpar version of it. That's what today's Iced Vovos look and taste like. Less of everything and a base of bland biscuit.

These were special in the 1960s. I was bought a packet yesterday for nostalgia and had a bikky expecting a trip down memory lane.. No comparison. The recipes for the whole ensemble has been changed - for the worse. The biscuit base is smaller and thinner. The biscuit pastry is no longer as rich or short. The marshmellow topping is thin and no longer a classic mellow pillow. The jam stripe is similarly thin and not the same taste or consistency. If I eat a bikky then I want the experience to be enjoyable and worth the sugar, calories, dietary etc impact. There are other far better options including my own baking. I will try to use the packet of iced vovos up as a crushed biscuit base for a slice as they are inedible as sold. If that doesn't work then it will become chooky lunch. No more of these will be purchased.

Un Australian Arnott’s – My sister and I talked about the vovo biscuits and I said they are marshmallow on top either side of the jam , snd my favourite biscuit She said they changed them , now icing and when she contacted them they said no , they have always been icing I disagree Im 57 and am not an idiot I bought a packet today and it’s disgusting The marshmallow has been taken off and put as a cheap too sweet icing and cheap jam in the centre The biscuits are smaller in both width and length and are over cooked

NoNo Vovo – I haven’t seen Arnott’s Iced Vovo in the supermarket for sometime, but they are back. Unfortunately, the new owners of Arnott’s must think there’s War Rations on as there’s nothing but a smear of marshmallow and jam and too much coconut sprinkles. The biscuit tastes similar but there’s no enjoyment of the gooey marshmallow of yesteryear. Sorry Arnott’s, tonight I score Vovo’s an one out of ten.
