Atomik or Bomb?

After 20 hours and an oil change the motor is now running with little miss, and pulls firmly. At this stage I think we are running somewhat rich and we will be leaning off the mixture, so long as this does not interfere with perfformance.

Machine went to gether easily. DVD made it easy. Only a few minor parts were missing- windscreen clamps. Plastic colour body parts seemed flimsy but are actually adequate. Seating is good. Steers well. Wheels and tyres seem identical to our Yamaha Big Bear so these will be welcome spares when the Yamaha dies.
Good access to engine etc. Protection panels underbody nuisance when servicing but give substantial underbody protection against sticks etc.

Lights adequate. Instruments adequate. Parking brake is a lightweight failure but we shall improve this as it is a great safety feature. Overall at this early stage it is good value.
I like the idea of the side by side with tray. Much better farm "bike" than the Yamaha Big Bear etc. Not so tiring after several hours use.
Nothing yet except the parking brake.

BUYER BEWARE: Purchased one of these Atomik XUV 400cc in June 2011, it has been broken down waiting for parts for over a period of 9 months. First break down waited four months for parts, second break down waited 5 months and still waiting for parts. It seems as though these Hisun Atomic Farm Vehicles are being imported into Australia without parts supply. This maybe in breach of Australian Consumer Laws. BUYER BEWARE do not buy Hisun Vehicles, they cannot supply replacement parts and after they have sold one to you they no longer want to know you.
