Two batteries not holding charge & still within the warranty period. Zero response from this mob! – UPDATE 02/06/2022. Autoelect have now replaced both batteries. I purchased these batteries in January 2020. After I received them they were both charged individually using my Victron smart charger and put into storage still in their original packaging. Last July 2021 they were installed in my Jayco Silverline caravan when I started to live in it full time. I have 400 watts of panels on the van roof and a Victron 100/30 solar controller in place of the Jayco controller which didn't suit my panel configuration Now the batteries have been working fine up until about two weeks ago. I am not usually in the van during the day and the only thing the batteries were powering was the 12 volt control circuit for my 3 way fridge which is running on gas. Therefore the batteries were always fully charged and would run my TV at night without any issues. Now for some reason if I use my TV from say 5.30pm to around 10.30-11PM the batteries are nearly flat ie my charge indicator is showing there is not many hours left in the battery capacity, whereas previously the charge indicator would show the battery had hardly used any of their capacity. The batteries are connected in parallel. I have not split them at this stage into individual batteries to see if one battery is dragging down the other battery I thought I would contact you first to see what your thoughts were as to what might have happened to the batteries. I am located in inland northern NSW near the Qld border and have been since the batteries were installed so sun light hours during the day is not an issue when it comes to the panels charging the batteries during the day. the controller charges the batteries to around the 14.2 volt mark each day and they would hold this charge until recently where once the sun goes down and my TV is on (it draws around the 4-5 amp mark) the battery voltage can drop to the mid to low 12 volt mark fairly quickly now. I can take pictures of my charge indicator is saying as various stages of the day if you need this.

The above is a copy of the information I sent to Autoelect on the 18th March 2022. I have sent inquiries to them three times now with zero response or acknowledgment from them. So anyone who buys batteries (135AH Deep Cycle types in my case) from this company BEWARE. There is no address or phone numbers on their website to contact them only a dispute window which in my case has been ignored. I'd say I've done my cash on these batteries and I won't be buying new ones from these guys.

Nothing sent and no reply!! -$1000! – I order batteries every month from Autoelec, However this order from 2 weeks ago has not been sent out?? And no reply for the Autoelec, I think this company has gone downhill from how they used to be. Wasted $1000

Great Service Great Product – This was my first purchase through Autoelec.com.au and i was very happy with how things went. Service was very fast, I purchased a 135AH amp hour Deep Cycle Battery on the 13/08/19 and received it delivered to my work on the 16/08/19 super fast delivery. Also the delivery guy removed the battery from the box for me to inspect for damage and the battery was fully charged. Great work Autoelec will recommend to anyone and definitely use again.

seller in the first place, if it were not for the what turned out to be a false a promotion.

After few days, without explanation, I was refunded half the purchase price (but not half the postage, which had doubled at checkout when I added the second item to my cart), and was only sent the second, supposedly “free” item (which ended up costing me only a few dollars short if the full value of the product). I wasn't given any option to cancel the order, given the seller's inability to fulfil it.

Thus, AUTOELEC sold me an item at a value FAR greater than the sales contract I had entered for that item (i.e. "FREE"). My attempts to contact and resolve the matter have been simply ignored (with the exception of one generic, evasive response).

Sent scuffed ex-demo unit in place of new. No reply to messages – I ordered a Makita Jobsite radio in a sale on 6 October. I had actually ordered 2 of them at what was admittedly a good price but they later realized they only had 1 left in stock so they refunded the difference - fair enough. to any messages about this. The third tracking number I was sent was valid and when I finally received the item I noticed it was clearly an ex store demo. The power lead was left plugged in from use and there are scuff marks on it. I was not informed of this or asked if it was OK with me. Generally, when something is listed in an online store it is expected to be brand new unless specified as otherwise. I have sent more messages since and they have not responded to any. It is rather frustrating as the only wat they allow you to contact them is via an online email form.

I have previously used Autoelec a couple of years ago and found them to be good so I don't know what to make of this experience. Perhaps new management?

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! – Product supplied doesn't match the advertised description. Seller is very rude when questioned and does nothing to fix the problem, then proceeds to insult me as the buyer. Disgusting! Buy anywhere else but do not buy from autoelec.com.au

Helpful after sales service – Item ordered was delivered speedily and accurately. Through no fault of the seller, I had a slight problem which was sorted out quickly and efficiently by their customer service who replied within hours.

another long wait. I thought Autoelec would want to know that their local Australia Post was not performing very well. I received quite a rude email back saying that if I was not happy, he would put a "Return to Sender" order on it and I could try to get one locally, and that since I lived remote I should be appreciative of any service I am given. The point is I do expect items to be delayed, but not that long! And I don't expect to be met with such aggression when I question why.

fault, not a user issue, and told me to return it to the retailer. In contacting Autoelec, I didn't have high hopes that a high-volume, low-margin online retailer would cope with dealing with a faulty product return. But, to my surprise, within a couple of hours (one call and two return emails from Autoelec staff) the issue was resolved. I received the replacement within 48 hours.

I also see that the "4 litre" description on the website has not changed. I find this deceptive, as part of ordering online means that you need to trust that you'll get what you ordered, therefore I cannot recommend Autoelec.com.au and suggest finding the same item from a more trustworthy seller if you can.

This was when the problems began. According to the company ",the battery is not faulty by manufacture , as it has sulfated due to either the battery being overdischarged ( overflattened out ) , left flat for an extended period of time or the wrong charging profile used to recharge the battery" This is a battery that has been used 3 times!

I then received a very curt message of a "tell someone who cares" nature.

This was a very disappointing response to a genuine issue. It appears that many are happy with the performance of this company but my experience was very different.

Batteries are fantastic – Excellent product, excellent service, very prompt delivery, very happy with my purchase, and shall highly recommend this company to family and friends. Thankyou for your excellent service, I shall be back.

Great UHF radio – I bought a GME 6155 handheld UHF radio kit with external mic/speaker. Use it at work (tip/transfer station) everyday,it sits ok on your hip so you can get in and out of machinery and not bulky. I have the mic/speaker clipped to my collar,very convenient. ignition turned on. I just left the NOCO Genius connected to the car battery for about 30 seconds then turned the ignition key and the car started first go. It's also powered a Laptop for a couple of hours & charged several mobile phones all without issue and plenty of charge left in reserve. The Built in LED lights are very bright and perfect for roadside repairs or as an emergency beacon. This is one awesome piece of gear. Don't know why I didn't purchase one sooner.
