I have every right for warranty but seller and manufacturer of those batteries cannot be contacted.lt is not $600 but principal , and those companies should not get away with it. Ask credit card company for refund for undelivered goods – I preordered a vacuum in late June when they were obviously about to go into vol. admin. I never received the vacuum but after hearing about their collapse I disputed the charge with my credit card company and after 6 weeks investigation, received notice that I was successful in my claim. So anyone else who lost out dispute with your credit card company.

My first purchased was made a few years back and the deals too good to be missed, buy a 4-5 items and waited 4 weeks then to be told that my items discontinued and they offered refund back. trimmer kits and they sent me a very old stock plus it is a display item one but just go with it. The third purchase was recently made on April sometime on a special Hikoki 2 piece kits with bonus Radio, was understandable due to their sale reasons, after a months waited and I decided to make a phone call or 2 and even try to email them but their services don’t exist at all. Finally got an email reply after a months said they sorry for not fulfil my orders due pitch reasons and I emailed back for a refund if they can’t fulfil my orders then no respond back what soever til a few weeks later, receive an email said they will send out my items in new start of the week then nothing is happened until 5 of July received Australia’s post notification without sender information. Guess what, it is from tools direct Which is Tools.com and it arrived on 9 of July with 2 batteries are missing and no bonus Radio as well. The conclusion is Tools.com is a scammer. This is my warning to everyone who falls for their amazing deals. Anyone that has a terrible experience with them and want a class action against them I would more than happy to join in.

Delivery's delayed but I saved the cost – I am happy of buying my works boots from Tools.com even the delivery was delayed as they need to do back order. I was able to save about $50 compared to purchasing it from another site. Show details

To my satisfaction – I bought makita plunge saw package with track, batteries, aws chip and a charger. I had to wait for 3 weeks but for the price it was worth it. I saved $300. I had no issue communicating with the team via email or messenger. I have received all the items in original packing with nothing missing or wrong items. I ll gladly order from these guys again.

Received without delay – My experience with tools.com has been nothing but positive. I ordered two pairs of work boots on Sunday and came home from work on Thursday and had been delivered. Not too sure why so many bad reviews.

otherwise I don't think I would have had any recourse). After that I suddenly received my order. So, it seemed they were forced to post my item when otherwise they probably would have just pocketed the money. Seems like I got my item just in time because today I received an email stating that they are now in Administration. However, the website is still up and running. I would caution against purchasing from this company.

am sad to say that we'll likely never get a refund. The paperwork alone is a headache. How is it not fraud when they continue to take money for orders they cannot fulfill? If they are bought out and manage to get back on track I'm afraid I'll never risk buying from them again.

would take upto 7 business days to recieve my refund i find out after contacting Fair Trading NSW that the company is insolvent and is undergoing voluntary administration, any orders probably won't be fulfilled and they most likely wont provide a refund as they have probably already siphoned it to pay their debts, you can attempt to chase owed money by contacting the administrators as an unsecured creditor but it is a long shot.

To register as an unsecured creditor, contact the liquidator by searching for "TCT Forge Pty Ltd ASIC" in Google.

Still waiting for a refund – Awful experience. Price was good but I'm still waiting on the 2nd part of my order and they have said they will refund. This is nearly 3 months ago and I still don't have my goods or refund. Very poor customer service. You can't speak to anyone they just email and then stop emailing. Buy local. They're a drop shipper and pretty useless at it.

Awful customer service – I ordered a circular saw on 19/05/24 and the ETA was 10/06/24. It’s been a month and a week over ETA and I have since had to purchase a saw elsewhere. I have contacted them numerous times explaining the situation and looking for a refund, however to no avail. Would not recommend. **I have since got a refund from AfterPay so try and give that a go if you made you purchase through them!

with Tools.com few days prior to the delivery date to confirm the delivery details and told that the delivery will be delayed by 2 weeks, which they should've let me know prior to me reaching out to them. Gave them another call few days before and again was told that it will be another week to dispatch it from the warehouse. Which means 3 or 4 more days needs to be added on top for the delivery. At that point I asked them to cancel my order and issue a full refund, which Tools.com confirmed that it will take around 2 - 3 business days for me to receive the full refund. There is still no refund in the horizon after almost a moth cancelling the order. It seems like the business is run by bunch of toddlers who need hands holding and to be told what they supposed to do every step of the way. You have a lot better options, just save yourself the hassle and wasted time.

Incompetence and Excuses – The lack of transparency and communication is poor and I don't believe they know that they are incompetent. Nil tracking, nil updates or information on order. Excuses such as " item should be leaving warehouse any day" seem to be their only excuse for incompetence.

Missing parts of the delivery; and no proper action to resolve! – Worst experience with an online store ever. A big SCAM! – bought a Black & Decker blower/Vac, arrived well after the date and never got the email that it was in transit. When it arrived I tried using it and it doesn't work, not at all. Plugged into different power source I know works to make sure, absolutely nothing. Emailed them and they give me a service repair number to call, nobody answers and they don't return the call. DO NOT BUY FROM TOOLS.COM!!!

locally. Communication was not as good and the delivery was outside the quoted window by 10 days. I get it, sometimes these things happen.

#3 tools.com’s price was a little better than buying local, so I decided to give them another go. Communication was woeful and only when I initiated it to find out where my tool was. Three weeks outside the delivery window I was told it would be dispatched within a week. Ten days later my online orders page showed it was 3 months away! When asked, tools.com told me they had no idea when it would be available. I cancelled the order, went to my local shop (paid ~10% more) and walked out with the tool and a couple of freebies.

I probably won’t use tools.com in the future - unless I hear they’ve lifted their game back to the original standard I experienced.

UPDATE AUGUST 2024

Still waiting for my refund and just found out that tools.com has gone into administration - it seems their downhill slide kept going!

Fortunately I’m not out of pocket too much and I feel sorry for those who have lost more. I suggest trying to claim through your credit card provider or PayPal if you used either of those payment methods. Good luck!
