Love this product! – Josh is yours a ceramic cup one? Where did you purchase in August 2018. So disappointed that these are no longer available as have been after one for my nephew. Have had mine for several years. Eggs come out easily when cups are lightly oiled. I love that you can also serve in the ceramic cups. Visitors are always impressed and want to know where to purchase. Yes those who were not happy should persevere. Would be happy to buy one from you. Show details
avanti egg poacher – Sturdy , strong, product but does not poac soft yolk eggs correctly. The whites are still watery and not setwhen you try to achieve this result. If you cook the white till set properly then the yolk of the egg is hard. Top marks though go to Everteen where I purchased the poacher and who showed friendly and positive customer service to me. Great. Read instructions and the eggs won’t stick – The amount of bad reviews I see in this website just because people can’t be stuffed reading the instructions on the box. -Heat water on medium -OIL TRAYS -PUT TRAYS IN AND WAIT FOR THEM TO WARM THE OIL -Then put in the eggs for the time stated. Also someone said they burned their finger trying to get the egg out, when the instructions clearly state to use a flexible spatula or spoon if the egg happens to get stuck. Show details

NOT A GOOD EGG COOKER – For a number of years we have had a Teflon coated poacher but the Teflon has started to fail so we brought what we thought would be a better appliance. I only wish I had read the reviews before purchase as I am so disappointed and going to try and get a refund. The eggs stick even with oil spray and also I blistered my finger trying to lift out… Read more
the eggs. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone we have a B & B and need to use the poacher every day
Can't get the eggs out of the cups – Silly me, I thought some of the other reviewers just didn't know how to use an egg poacher. (You have to spray a bit of oil in the cup before dropping the eggs in. Then when cooked, loosen the egg with a knife or dessert spoon and it should just plop out.) I used to be a breakfast cook so I've used poachers before. This one doesn't work. Other… Read more
poachers feature egg cups that are spoon shaped inside, all curves and nothing to catch. The Avanti's cups have a corner around the inside base and the egg sticks to that. I couldn't remove one egg intact. And cleaning afterwards was a chore. Looks like I'll have to go back to one of the "unhealthy" Teflon coated versions.
Avanti-egg-poaching-pan – I bought this for the non-toxic Ceramic cups. It's a great way to cook eggs without much trouble of cleaning the cups. I don't like Teflon or steel ones; former is toxic and the latter too hard to clean. This pan and cups are easy to clean, use and non toxic. Very happy with it and not expensive.
I was really disappointed – I love poached eggs but just can't get the knack of cooking them so I was super excited when I found this but very disappointed after using it. Even after spraying/oiling the egg cups they still stuck and didn't just slide out like I expected. I also found the eggs didn't cook evenly. By the time the middle was cooked the whites had bubbled and… Read more
were overlooked. I tried quite a few times with different water temps, lid on and off and it just didn't meet my expectation. At least the frypan with lid is still usable on its own so it hasn't been a total waste of money.
Love this pan! – A little olive oil in the cups seems to keep the sticking to a minimum. But I love the little ceramic cups. They can be used to serve in as well. I only wish it were more available here in the United States. Postage from Australia is cost prohibitive. Otherwise, a fine piece. Cooks very evenly and I love the presentation in the ceramic cups I cannot find replacement cups. My husbnd broke one. :(
Not happy at all – We are so disappointed in the egg poacher. We went for a more expensive model thinking it would be better. Everything sticks, nothing stops the eggs sticking. You can't pick the cups up, they get too hot. Looks nice Nothing stops the eggs sticking. Cups too hot to handle.
