Won't last long so don't recommend – I got this as a gift and was so excited to use it. I have been using it for approx 4 months and now it won't allow me to heat anything over 30ml, which is the lowest mls setting. No use for it as I need to use it on higher mls and I can't. Very disappointed.
Only lasted 12weeks – I was excited to find this product and spent the extra money to get what I thought was a reliable brand. I bought all the avent bottles, food containers etc to be compatible. My baby was born with a bubble pallette so relied on this warmer for all expressed milk. However after using it for 12 weeks we started having issues with it (would shut off… Read more
no reason, wouldnt start sometimes) until eventually stopped working all together. Very disappointed that now I wont be able to use it with bubs number two and will be looking for a different brand to buy.

Worked for a while – Had ours for 4 months Brough it over when we moved from the UK it was working well up until last week when it wouldn't stay on with a bottle over 200 ml. Mould in the lid and now it seems to do what it likes . I'd have expected it to last a bit longer than this !
Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Very disappointed with the Build up of mould under top of bottle warmer – How are you meant to clean the build up of mould under the top of the bottle warmer as it dosnt come apart yes you can clean everything else but not under the top. Very disappointing as it looks terrible and I'm very unhappy with that part of the appliance

Its alright once you figure it out! – We purchased this warmer after seeing one being used in the special care nursery of the hospital. It's a great invention! It's very useful to have but it took me a long time to realise that you need to put a lot of water in it if you wanted to warm the milk sufficiently. I thought you could heat up baby food if you have the food in one of those Avent cups but this didnt work for me. It's a shame! Warms milk safely
Does the job – I purchased this warmer when I began bottle feeding at night. It has been incredibly useful having it bedside rather than hubby or I having to make the trip downstairs to prepare bottles. The temperature of the contents when warmed was inconsistent now and then, however, I preferred this method of heating for the convenience. Convenient Inconsistent temperatures
Danger! – This product was extremely disappointing. With my 3rd child I decided to buy one, concept great, but this devise could be dangerous if you weren't on the ball! It heats the milk up to boiling even when you follow the instructions to a T! I even tried to reduce the time etc and still end up with an extremely hot boiling bottle of milk. Would not recommend! Do it the old fashioned way and heat in hot water! More reliable! Everything about it!
Looks Convenient - but not so sure – I purchased so I didn't have to boil the kettle in the middle of the night and heat bottle in jug. But unfortunately it was a little confusing to use at night and as with other reviews very hard to operate with one hand as you can not press the buttons unless pushed against a wall. I haven't used the food defrosting or reheating as I can not find… Read more
a suitable container to fit it.
Unfortunately it is sitting on my bench not being used.
Need to have the manual out to work out water level etc.
Hard to get the temp correct even when using room temp water. The Idea that it would be great To confusing to remember how to use and a lot of fussing around with temp and buttons
Dont bother – We had to go to bottle feeding early. We bought this, thinking that it would heat the bottle easily during the night especially, when the microwave would make too much noise. We followed the instructions to the T, and the bottle either came out boiling hot or cold still. We couldn't figure out which result we would get each time! In the end, after… Read more
only about 2 months of use, we could smell this burning smell, and the thing had boiled dry (even though we refilled it each time before use). I rang Avent, and they finally got back to me, and I was able to reset it again (it works again now). The problem is, and Avent told me about this, that the instructions say that you only need 30ml of water each time - what they fail to say, is that this is for 15ml of milk only (their instruction book doesn't have this piece of info in it!)....you need to double the water per bottle (i.e.: 100ml of milk = 200ml of water to heat it). Took forever to heat it then!!!
Don't bother - just use the microwave! it worked for the first 2 months...... so many things!!! poor performance.
A good update of the original – I bought this warmer when we had our second baby as we had had one of the original Avent warmers for our first baby that you had to manually turn off and we were always forgetting to turn it off so it would either boil dry or the milk would be scalding hot. I loved the idea with the Avent IQ that it turns itself off and that you can set it to… Read more
heat the exact amout of milk in the bottle.
It was great for night feeds. I use to have bottles of water next to my bed, and a formula container, so during the night, i would just stick the bottle in the warmer, and catch a couple of extra minutes of shut eye while it warmed, then all i had to do was add the formula.
It could occasionally be inconsistent and a bit too hot,I found it got gunk in it and it was hard to clean, but overall, i loved it. Makes feed time easier. Turns itself off so it doesn't boil dry. A great improvement on the original Avent bottle warmers. Like most baby products it was expensive.
It works just fine – This warmer has been very convenient for us as you can pop the bottle in, go and change a nappy and pop back for the warm bottle when it beeps. Yes...the heating of the bottle can be a little inconsistant at times but generally it has been fine. Of course we check the temperature everytime it comes out, but we would do that with any other… Read more
method anyway.
We have found if you keep the bottle in the warmer after the timer has gone off, it will get hotter and hotter and you will end up with a boiling hot bottle. So best to snatch it out as soon as it beeps.
The heat settings are annoying unless you work in fl oz. If you had a 150ml bottle, your only heat setting choices are 140ml or 170ml. Convenient, easy to use. Heating can be inconsistant at times/Heat settings are designed with fl oz in mind.
