Not as bad as the others – I bought this pan, because it labeled 'ceramix eco' and it is something came to my mind that 'better than Teflon'. I cooked fried eggs, fried fish in the pan with minimal oils. After few weeks, the non-stick is really non-existance. However, I have a closer looked at the pan surface, there isn't any coating, it is more like an enamel coating. I… Read more

was thinking to throw in the bin, but I thought it is a waste, the pan still look solid and good. So it sat in my cupboard for many years. Until recently, two of my non-stick pans bought last year, the coating starting to peel/come off. Because of the lockdown, shops were not opened, I took the Baccarat Ceramix Eco pan out again to use it. It is still a good pan, luckily I did not throw into bin. I pre-heated the pan, poured in some oil, about 1 tablespoon, swirled around to let the oil coated the surface. Wait for it to heat up again. I fried an egg which it came out nicely like non-stick pan! I was very amazed! I think this pan does not have non-stick Teflon coating, but with proper pre-heat, wash and care after each use. It actually last longer than my other non-stick pans. I have used it to pan fried fish, pancakes all came out beautifully. Luckily I did not threw it out!

Worst EVER!!! – I've used a lot of pans, but none comes close to this sorry excuse for a pan in terms of stickiness. Used for a week or two before the non-stick coating became ineffective. Show details

Worst pan I have ever used – Food sticks to this like anything. This was the residue after cooking soft fried eggs. I was told it was non-stick hahaha what a joke! Do not buy this awful rubbish. Show details

All Ceramic Cookware Should Be Seasoned – I've noticed a lot of issues with reviews with the product and food sticking. Best way to avoid it is to season the cookware. Unfortunately to have a chemical free non stick you have to season it. You can still revitalise the frypan you have by cleaning with white vinegar and then seasoning it with a few drops of vegetable oil (olive oil too tacky)

excellent value, healthy cooking – I can't understand the negative reviews, my pan is easy to clean, doesn't scratch, non stick if follow instructions. If it didn't I would have taken it back to the retailer for replacement. If they refuse just lodge a claim in the magistrates court, you will win and they have to pay your costs and refund purchase price. non stick, healthy surface unlike teflon type, beats scan pan hands down

I absolutely love it!... best fry ware ever...wasn't expensive compared to other over the top brands and their bogus claims and of which some were very expensive. to season these pans just oil with olive oil and use.. too easy.. cooked everything beautifully .. then wiped clean with a soft cloth... my goodness .. blow me over with a… Read more ·  1

Terrible waste of money! – Purchased from House in July 2018 and used it less than 10 times in this period as I prefer to use the oven and microwave. Cooked bacon and eggs last week and stuck like crazy and left burn mark. Took it back to House and they asked what oil I used... Cobram olive oil... they said I was using wrong oil it’s my fault I should be using Ricebran or… Read more

Grapeseed oil as it has high burning point. This is an insane excuse as they only have a 2c - 8c higher point than what I am using! The lady cleaned the mark off with a special cloth which they sell and it looked like new again, I thought it might be ok. Tonight I cooked an egg and stuck so bad again I ended up scrambling it. But the pan washed up nicely. So much for the non stick 25 year lifetime warranty for something that is less than 1 year old. I wrote a review on the Baccarat website when I clicked on submit it said it will be reviewed first, doubt that it will be posted as there were no other reviews visible. I am a member of choice and will be bringing this up with them and the Consumer Commission. My other pan was cheap and a few years old, nothing stuck in all the years, I only replaced it coz it didn’t sit flat on the ceramic cooktop. I see at the top of this screen it has been discontinued so maybe all this hassle isn’t worth it.

$25 Woolies pan is better – Thought I’d splash out and buy a decent fry pan. Thank god I bought it on special because it was a waste of money. Everything started sticking within a few times of using it. I have a $25 pan from Woolworths (Arcosteel) which is my go-to pan now. I might as well throw this one out.  Show details

Dreadful feel totally ripped off - they should be reported for selling these and not honouring warra – We bought an entire set of 5 frypans and 3 saucepans and a wok. They are total crap. The handles are literally disintegrating and the frypans glue everything to the bottom no matter how carefully you look after them. We never use them now. Hundreds of dollars and we feel totally ripped off. I contacted Baccarat who only sent instructions on how to care for them which we followed to the letter already.  Show details

Total waste of money – Purchased a granite fry pan 10 months ago on social for $69 could have saved myself $40 and gone to KMart. 3 months in everything stuck to it even though I followed the cleaning instructions, going to take back for a refund.

Why Pay So Much For a Ceramic Non Stick Pan? – Not long ago, about 6 months, I bought a very expensive Baccarat pan. At first it was fabulous, now food sticks to it and I am about to bin it. No matter what I cook, from mushrooms to fish, or how much rice bran or olive oil I use, the food sticks. Billy Healy Queensland.

What a pile of crap! – Seasoned as per instructions, but this fry pan stuck food to it every time I used it right from the start. Use oil or no oil, still sticks. Bought it for around $50 on Ebay, be warned. They should take the two words "non stick" out of the description.

returned it for a refund – Unfortunately non stick properties are gone within 3 month, followed instructions to the dot, never used spray oil and always oiled it after use but nevertheless food started sticking after a couple of month. I returned it and bought a Baccarat Granite hoping it will last better

Poor Quality & Waste of Money – Like everyone else here our pans worked well for the 1st month or 2 but now everything sticks. You're better off buying steel pans at least they can be cleaned. Don't buy these pans.

Food sticks after a few uses – Decided to buy some decent fry pans (about $80 for the set of 2) and quite frankly a $10 Coles brand one would be better. For the first few uses GREAT nothing sticks and had to use little of no oil etc. Now virtually everything sticks even with oil and has burnt on residue that is impossible to shift. I have treated them with TLC but realistically they are CRAP and a waste of my money!

Terrible pans - even worse customer service – I bought full set of kitchen cookware at Robins Kitchen. OMG! The exterior coat started to come off so I decided to bring those back due to life time warranty. Guess what... warranty declined because of inappropriate usage - which is obviously bullsh#t

Non stick that sticks – T thought a ceramic fry pan sounded a good idea and was so pleased that it would be non-stick. the first two times I used it the pan was non stick but now everything sticks, how I wish I had read product review where others are experiencing the same problem, before my purchase. Ceramic component Food definitely sticks

Handle fell off – I was initially pleased with my fry pan but the surface failed to live up to expectations, food started to stick and I couldn't keep it clean, and then the handle fell off. It is designed to hang up, with a hole in the end of what appears to be a very strong and durable handle, but unfortunately it snapped off at the base after about 10 months… Read more

of use. :-( The base is thick and the ceramic surface seemed appealing The pan lost its non-stick surface very quickly and the handle snapped off.

Complete waste of money! – I had a similar experience to most of these reviews, worked fine for a few months (using it following manufacturers recommendations) then food started sticking to it. I contacted Bacarat and they just told me that it's probably because of built up oil and told me how to clean it off properly. I did that and there is no oil but it still sticks as bad as ever. I've gone back to using my old trust worthy metal frypan.

disagree... more like a few weeks...their cleaning technique doesn't work and sticking is not a warranty issue

Appalling customer service – I bought two of the baccarat ceramic frying pans. Initially I was so happy with this product that I was recommending it to everyone. Within a couple of months of purchase things began to stick, even with adequate oil and there was discolouration even with significant scrubbing. I took the pan back to the shop where I bought it for some advice,… Read more

they said they weren't sure and said that the baccarat policy was to return for assessment and if faulty replace. When the pot did return it was accompanied by the most condescending, patronising letter from a man simply titled Errol. Errol proceeded to tell me how a frying pan should be used and this included not cooking with high heat, he then intimated that my motive had been to get a replacement. Absolutely insulted by this letter I rang the company to contact Errol's up line manager to make him aware of how customers were being treated. Once my email had been received one of this mystery mans PAs contacted me via telephone to see if the manager could contact me directly, I agreed as I am more than happy to discuss the manner in which my original query was handled. I am still waiting......... And I will in the meantime not be advocating the purchase of an inferior product with even more inferior customer service. Everything for about 6 weeks Stick, stick, stick! Non existent customer service

Sticking after 2 months! – I purchased the Baccarat Bio+ Set. I was assured that if the pans were not overheated and looked after they would last. I can't even get the food off after… Read more

Rubbish – This is a horrible frypan. We have followed the care instructions to the T and it was non-stick for about a month. Now everything sticks to it. I am so disappointed with product as it was a gift to my Mother who loves to cook and it is useless. I seriously and empathically suggest you buy something else. It's about as non-stick as super glue.

Worthless – Bought this non-stick frying pan few weeks ago and after few uses everything started sticking to it. Cleaning it takes a lot of time and effort. Expensive rubbish that completely doesn't work as advertised. Any teflon frying pan would do much better job than this. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone Nothing any teflon frypan does a better job

Barely average for induction cooking and everything sticks! – Bought 26cm and 30cm skillets about 12 months ago. They were non-stick for about 2 months and after that everything started sticking. Took me about 5 minutes with a scourer to clean one after my wife cooked eggs last week. They don't work well at all with induction. Very slow when cooking steak etc. Light weight and durable interior coating. Poor induction cooktop performance and definitely not "non-stick"

Perfect cooking, no sticking! – I love it! Cooks evenly, doesn't stick. My biggest issue when looking for a non-stick frypan was safety. So many have chemical laden coatings that leach into the food, but this doesn't, it's completely safe. It's just as good as our bigger frypan which is the Tefal Jamie Oliver (chemical free) non stick pan which cost a small fortune. No chemicals. Non-stick. Lets you know when it's ready to use.  Show reply

The best nonstick frypans i have ever used – These are the best nonstick frypans we have ever used. Nothing will stick, a dream to wash up and have not scratched at all. They heat up really quickly and best of all, no nasty chemicals in the nonstick surface. They are light too which is a bonus. We have 3 all together and they come in lovely colours, blue, red and orange. Would highly recommend. Quick heat up, easy wash up, no nasty chemicals in nonstick surface Don't come with lids

Better than NEOFLAM!!!! – This Pan is awesome, works well with my induction stove, never sticks! Well worth the money. Easy to clean just use hot water no detergents required. I once had a NeoFLAM, they were hopeless and scratched easily. I have used a knife on this and it still does not wear! Never sticks  Show reply

Forget it if you have Induction cooktop! – I bought this pan especially for stir frying - and sure, it doesn't stick - but I have an induction cooktop and it took absolutely forever to heat up and even though the snazzy little light up feature (where the word Baccarat lights up when the pan is hot) works the pan just does not get anywhere near hot enough to stir fry - even when I turned it… Read more

up to high - I doubt it would cook a fried egg! I'm taking it back for a refund as it is not suitable for induction cooking, despite saying that it is. Very disappointing. Size, shape and surface Does not adequately work on induction cooktop.
