Baccarat 30cm sauce pan a big disappointment – My Baccarat 30cm sauce pan has lost all of its non-stick features after 12 months, despite trying to cook everything on "low or medium". How the heck do cook meat on low or medium? I wish I had stuck to Scanpan, but they are more expensive. When I ring the Australian service number in Footscray, and got a recorded message. The staff where I purchased the pan would have to post the pan off to Footscray for assessment; time to buy a Scanpan. Show details
Perfect Non-Stick Frypan – I have got the 26cm Baccarat Bio + Frypan for 4 years. Never did food stick as I followed (and kept) the information that came with the frypan. I always was it by hand as I don't want to damage the surface of the Frying pan. I give it 5 stars! Show details
Baccarat non stick frypans wear out quickly - beware – The Baccarat non stick frypans are probably just a glorified Teflon and not durable. After 18 monthst the 'black paint' comes off the edges and each one of my pans is scratched despite using non metallic utensils. I made a mistake once and used a metal utensil and the non stick surface peeled off in my food. their warranty is useles. They will not honour it. Buy something else more duable. Show details
terrible ! everything sticks! – for an expensive chef pan that is "chef" endorsed, it is absolute rubbish. so disappointed, everything sticks to the bottom and makes such a mess of the food, its going into the bin! Show details
absolute rubbish everthing sticks even when brand new and steel rim is coming off the bottom and i c – this frypan was a wedding gift sadly the money they saved to buy it was wasted on this rubbish frypan that is literally coming apart rim seperated from the base and no where on the internet is any warranty address just Robins and House I would never recommend buying any of these Show details
Very poor non stick quality – We recently purchased two Pete Evans fry pans from Home on their recommendation. From the first time we used it food stuck to the surface. Became so frustrated we bought a $20 pan from Woolworth's that performs 100 times better. I would recommend not buying these pans at all. They are terrible Show details
Saute pan 32 cm – How high can the oven be. I am extremely satisfied with my 32in dutch oben ss handles. I usually use it on my cooktop but what temperature can the oven be. Eg only 180? Show details
Non stick pans – Very disappointed..non stick breaks down very quickly. Went into a store to speak about it they blamed me the customer. I guess with all the bad reviews they need to be something about it... Show details
Worst pans ever – Worst purchase I ever made of a kitchenware. Everything sticks, I splashed out thinking a reputable chef would have standards but it's really rubbish. Never buying anything Pete Evans or Baccarat again. Show details
Worst pan ever – How the hell do you make everything stick. From sausages to bacon. What a piece of crap. The only positive is it fits perfectly in the bin. Water would stick to this crap pan. Show details
Crap Cookware – So much for non stick I used it three times to makeflat bread and all three times three different recipes stuck to pan. Too much money for rubbish cookware. I'm better off buying a big W non stick for twenty dollars every six months. A big thumbs down from me! I would NOT RECOMMEND this cook ware to anyone. Save your money! I wish I would have read the reviews first. Show details
Non stick doesn't last and their warranty is sh**t – I bought one of their pans from house and in about 6 months the non stick had completely worn off and it's impossible to clean. Took it back to house and they said that they don't cover the non stick, only handles and something else, As if I buy an expensive pan for their lovely handles. What a disappointment. Don't recommend these to anyone Show details
Pete Evans Baccarat Frypans – These pans are terrible! I bought some from House in March 2014 - the Hard Anodised range with the dimpled surface - they were great at first but become at lot less than 'non-stick' within a year or two. Given the life-time guarantee I decided (for the first time in my life!) to return them and bought the Pete Evans Ignite range. These were worse!… Read more
They were not non-stick right from the get go even though I followed the instructions for use to the letter, stand after 1 month I returned these as well. I'll never buy pans from the Pete Evans range again. House were outstanding in their support of my problem.

Terrible – After about the third use only, food began to stick and never comes clean. Used the oil that was recommended and only do general cooking in it. Will not ever purchase another (Pete Evans Baccarat) Show details
not happy – bought a set of baccarat iconix saucepans 1st time I used on to re-heat some food it ended up extremely discoloured was told it could have been caused by heat am I missing something they are saucepans took them back and have now had nothing to cook with for a week while they decide what happened Show details
Low Quality Frypan - High Price – I am not happy with my Non Stick Baccarat Frypan. After approx 2 years use food is sticking to it even though we used according to manufactures instructions. its an Aluminium based Frypan and cost $109 - what a waste of money! Lifetime Guarantee - what a joke. Show details
Poor quality and customer service – The lid of my frypan exploded. When I contacted the company they were very responsive and said they would send me a replacement. I sent them all the details and they said it would be sent in 10 days. Thiis was 09/03/16 and have not heard from them since even though I have e-mailed them several times. I am extremely unhappy with the product and customer service
Poor Quality – Baccarat Ceramix frypan supposedly non stick but beware! I used it specifically according to the directions but after 12 months it sticks every time - what a waste of money. I took it back to Robins Kitchen but was told I had burnt something in it so the "lifetime" warranty was invalid. This is simply not true, I bought one for my son at the same time and he's had exactly the same problem. Will never trust Baccarat again!
Thank God! – The Baccarat 5 stainless range were close to the worst cookware I have ever had the misfortune to buy - big error. Terrible design, poor workmanship, low grade materials. Was going to buy a Peter Evens ceramic frypan at the recent sales (50% off) but was put off by the earlier negative Baccarat 5 experience. The ceramicware looks better but once burnt, twice shy - looks can be deceiving.
Baccarat stainless steel - Don't waste your money – I purchased the full set of stainless steel, costing approx $600. The handles get extremely hot, the rivets have fallen off, the handles on the lids have brocken and like a few other reviews I've read, everything sticks! I've queried the above with the manufacturer and apparently according to them I should have known that stainless steel is a… Read more
metal and it would heat up.. I've never experienced that with stainless before.
Not entirely sure what the "warranty" covers, just doesn't cover lids falling apart and handles getting hot.
Won't ever recommend this product or purchase it again..
Simply RUBBISH
LIfe time warranty - wrong! – I have a set of Bacarrat saucepans which I have had for about 7 years. The handles are falling off and when I queried this with Bacarrat they told me this is not a warranty issue and the deterioration of the rivets was due to using the saucepan as a saucepan????? Work that one out!!!!! How is this a 'lifetime' warranty if you have no handles on your saucepans???
Very disappointed! – My Mother and I both purchased the biggest set of baccarat cookware plus more including extra non stick frypans. Thought we were getting cookware for life - wish we never got it! My non-stick fry pan that cost $7 at coles has outlived the nonstick baccarat and I am very careful to never put anything metal or with bones in the pan. sticks very badly

Robust, – I have owned my baccarat 5 cookware for 6.5 years, very happy, even heat distribution thru base & sides allows for faster cooking/heating , robust-a teenager cant even destroy it! fantastic for wet cooking only as stainless steel isn't non-stick, for frying & rice I use non-stick baccarat id3s, I have only owned this for 12 months, I do not use spay oils, olive oil or so far very good.
Stainless steel that rusts – My nice looking Baccarat saucepan has pitted and has rust damage where the handle joins the pot - after less than 1 year. I can't soak beans in it or leave it with water. It has never been in the dishwasher so the pitting is definitely not caused by abrasives. Looks good, heavy Rusts!
Salt causes pitting in stainless steel cookware. Add salt once the water has boiled.
baccarat saucepans – I have just bought 2 fry pans in this range and im so disappointed. the food sticks while cooking and pans are hard to clean and for a new pan it looks dirty after cleaning so overall dont waste your money on this brand the exterior stays shiny food sticks and burns and pan is hard to clean and marks . after washing pan looks awful.
Totally agree. Food sticks all the time and bottom of the saucepans change colour. Have to use a… Read more (+1 reply)
Excellent – Great cookware, very durable. Would definately buy again. This brand might not have as fancy a reputation as others out there, but it is very good. I bought a set of pans for $180 (on sale) about five years ago and have not had one problem with them. Lasts a long time, I've had my Baccarat pots and pans for about 5 years now and have had no… Read more · 1
problems. Mine are not non-stick but they are very easy to clean. Also can be better value than other brands out there
Excellent – I purchased these pans about 7 years ago and just upgraded with a new steamer which can intergrate on the top of all my pans. I am normally a microwave steamer but have recently gone back to steaming and i like the difference in the quality of the vegatables. The pans retain their shine and have not warped over the years. The pans can be quite… Read more · 1
heavy when you have water in so, they are not for the weak wristed. I would definitely buy these again and would stay with this brand... The brand. The lids fit perfectly, whereas other brands dont seal correctly. Nothing, have not found anything yet
Bad – I was given a set of the baccarat series and the bessemer set for my wedding 3 years ago and absolutely hate cooking with the baccarat and only do so if i have used up all my bessemer on other dishes or i need that particular size. it is not non stick and is very difficult to clean especially around the screw caps. Good for steaming but maybe… Read more
that is about all, i always stay away from these if i cook rice as it usually sticks terribly to the pot. Would not recommend this product and would stick with the non stick surface before using stainless steel. Non slip grip handle. Food burns and stick to this too easily which then makes it a nightmare to clean. Stains easily.
Food sticks and burns – Just bought a big pan and hate it. Even scramble eggs stick and burn making it hard to clean. Would never buy this again. The inside surface is rough and food seem to get stuck in fine grooves making it hard to clean. Maybe I must put a sander on it and smooth it out. Would not buy again. looks good Burns, food sticks on bottom. Very rough inside surface.
OK – Good quality cookware. I have since gone for hard adonised due to ease of cleaning, but I still have a large pan in this range with a lid (not glass unfortunatly) which I continue to use due to size and the quality base for long slow cooking of stew type meals. Good product, good quality construction. Looks good as well. Conducts heat well,… Read more
especially off gas hobs. Heavy base, great for retaining heat. High sides on some of the frypans means you can cook large quantity of recipes. Cleaning in not that easy, has grooves in the base that I find hard to clean. I use a large size frying pan with high sides for a paella style dish, the pan is very heavy for me, needs both hands to lift.
I find it interesting that the people concerned with the appearance of the pan only like non stick… Read more
