I purchased a new frying pan from House. When I added oil to the pan while cooking at low heat the oil runs from the centre and pools around the edge of the pan. The pan was clearly warped so I returned it the store for a replacement or refund. I had no success. I phoned customer service and spoke to Razelle. She was very helpful and promptly offered me a replacement. Thanks Razelle. Show details

Lovely at first like all frying pan and saucepans however after handwashing only, wooden ornplastic utensils used and only around 1 year old the saucepan is pitting. Disappointed because of the price tag these came with! Show details

bought stone pans range warped ,the shop changed over for id3 pans had sticking first day not really happy had better success with Wollies or Kmart ,first cook this morning please can any body direct me to a great product range Show details

Follow-up  · follow up not really changed the warping continues, the middle rise when heat is applied three quarter heat after warm up every liquid in the pan encircles pan, which causes dry center, tried to commit to a very protective approach to pan ,its made my cooking very frustrating, olive oil, sunflower oil, seed oil. As you can see eggs ran to outside fat as well eggs burnt top end ,this happens with all id3 pans

Buyer beware these pans are Dangerous – The handle broke during use and I got burnt. When I contacted the company they advised that they wouldn’t replace it as they had replaced it once before. First time the nonstick coating or peeled off just after the first couple of uses. These pans supposedly have a lifetime warranty which clearly they do not honour. I could not believe that it… Read more

happened again. The product is so dangerous and for the cost of it doesn’t last very long at all. Save your money a Kmart pan would have lasted longer for a 10th of the cost. Don’t waste your time with these pans.

Bacarrat iD3 dodgy non stick! – Purchased 3 Bacarrat iD3 pans. Despite repeated washing prior to use, when "seasoning" the pan with cooking oil rubbed inside the pan with a paper towel yielded a black residue on the paper towel! The black stuff doesn't come off if I rub the washed pan with a dry tea towel - only when oil applied. Clearly this residue only comes off with oil.… Read more

Sent them back and they immediately sent out another lot. Same problem (of course)! I have asked for the cause of this problem to be addressed, otherwise I want a refund. No way I'm letting my family eat anything cooked in these pans that are shedding an unknown black substance in the presence of oil. Anyone else had this?

Didn't last 5 years – Used the one with the bakelite handle on a gas stove. Lasted maybe 5 years then the handle crumbled and fell off. Show details

Good after sales service – Had to make a warranty claim on a knife block that had split. Jhoanna provided great customer service and sorted my claim quickly and easily.

Follow-up  · The new block is going well. I’m not sure what happened with the first one to make it split, but it was possibly as though it had dried out causing splitting. I oil the new block when I oil my chopping boards

Great customer service – Purchased a set of Baccarat pots and pans, and after a year, the coating started peeling on the bottom of a pot, and our pan lost its non-stick coating. We never put these items in the dishwasher (even though they're dishwasher friendly) and never used harsh chemicals or brushes to clean. Contacted customer service and Razelle was extremely… Read more

helpful in organising replacement items for us. Given the reputation Baccarat has for quality, we were disappointed that the pot and pan had the issues they did, but the service from the company in rectifying our problem, was very impressive.

Thank you Baccarat – I recently made a warranty claim on some frypans that had deteriorated after 8 years of constant use. Nezie has been so helpful in walking me through the process and kept me up to date with the progress of my claim. My kitchen is full of Baccarat products. Highly recommend. Their customer support has been second to none. Greatly appreciate your patience and assistance Nezie. Thank You! Show details

Purchased a rock non stick pan. 2 years later it's lost its non stick and its warped despite been looked after. Went to House, first girl says no warranty, I go another day and a different girl says it faulty but no swap if I don't have the receipt. My experience? Product is rubbish and the lifetime warranty rubbish. Never again. Show details

I really enjoyed the ID3 pans at first. However, all my ID3 pans (2 fry pans, stir fry pan and griddle) warped on my induction cooktop. I contacted Baccarat via chat and spoke with Sheila. She was very helpful, and where was only after information whether this was a common issue she offered to replace my pans with the Granite range. I had my… Read more

first ID3 pan replaced in 2023 with a Granite and this range seems to keep it shape on an induction cooktop.

Excellent service from baccarat and Sheila in particular.

I had an unfortunate experience with Baccarat fry pan - although the store I purchased from didn’t offer me a replacement for the peeled pan, I sent Baccarat an email and the support that was given was great. Faulty product ! Bad customer service – Terrible product . Hardly used but followed instructions after only a few uses everything started to a stick and burn. Went back to company they wouldn’t do anything. This was ID3 platinum which is supposed to have lifetime warranty. VERY BAD customer service and even worse product . Never buy from there again!!!! If I could give minus stars I would. Show details

Non stick lies, Do not buy! – Don't get scammed into the 10 year warranty lies, and the non stick nonsense. These pots and pans will lose their non stick properties a while down the track. Went to House outlet where I purchased them and they spend more time driving you away as a customer than trying to retain you as a customer. Show details

30cm Frypan. Absolute garbage – I wish I had read these reviews before buying this garbage. Takes an age to get any heat into it, and retains nothing. I have to run the cooktop constantly on 10 and it still stews steak. Extremely disappointed. Will not buy again. Would give 0 stars if possible. Show details

Surface coating crumbling off – Thought I was buying a quality product. I bought a set of frypan, medium & large saucepan. Total waste of money. After less than 2 years , despite using soft non scratch utensils all have coating crumbling off & bare silver metal is showing through. Can’t risk coating being in the food. Can only exchange & I don’t want any replacement Baccarat products Show details

Baccarat Cookware..............They say on their Warranty Card "Lifetime Guarantee" - Whose lifetime? – We have a set of Baccarat induction Cookware, approx. 4 years old - my wife bought separately a Baccarat "milk saucepan" in N.Z whilst on holidays there. The Teflon coating has broken down through use. We looked up the Warranty Card to find it states "LIFETIME GUARANTEE", there is no qualification i.e. country of purchase, but it does define… Read more

Lifetime as 25 years (not sure where this lifetime comes from. The presumption is a human Lifetime.............These days a human lifetime is nearer 70 years and therefore this statement is a gross misrepresentation! We contacted Baccarat in Melbourne and were told they would not honor the "lifetime Guarantee" which is an extraordinary situation. Our replacement Saucepan will NOT be a Baccarat product EVER! These people are downright dishonest and why would you contemplate buying their product(s)?

Hopeless – Absolute waste of money. I have an induction cooktop, pans have always heated up extremely fast. But these pans are pathetic. Takes so long to heat up, you may as well go run a marathon whilst you wait. Don't waste your money. Run away! Show details

Disappointed – Lids are very hot, need a oven mitt I’ve been very careful with my saucepans and there are still marks on the coating of bottom of frypan. I only use soft kitchen tools, one of my lids doesn’t sit properly, steel lid already has a dent in it just very disappointed and only after a year of owning. Show details

Disappointing quality and don’t honour warranty – Purchased an ID3 set about 18 months ago. Already the black coating has come of the rims of the pots and pans making them look 5 years old. Have all been well looked after and washed in line with instructions. Customer support just puts it down to wear and tear. If you looking for quality products would certainly not recommend. Show details
