Landfill – They fell apart. Customer service didn’t want to know me.
Buyer Beware - definitely NOT dishwasher safe! – Our little frypan has been a bitter disappointment. On the packaging it states that it's dishwasher safe with a Lifetime Warranty. After about 18 months we noticed the outer coating was coming off. After contacting Customer Service I was advised "the item is dishwasher friendly " - not sure what this means - and, "it will depend on the chemical… Read more
used to wash the item and location where it was placed inside the dishwasher. This is the reason why we always recommend in our care and use that it would be best to hand wash the item to presever it's perfect condition. "
So basically, buyer beware, as it's not dishwasher safe! Also, it makes a mockery of the Lifetime Warranty.
Not durable at all, bottom started leaking after a 10 months – Bottom of my saucepan started leaking after 10 months. I took good care of it and expected it to last longer given durability is the key feature of this product! Considering this, I think this product is actually way overpriced than it should be. I will have to bring it back to the shop where I purchase this for them to assess, which is very inconvenient. Show details
Early non stick failures, very poor return experience with House – Bought a small pot, used it at low and medium heat for sauces and jams, the non stick surface on the base blistered within two months of use. Followed all care and use instructions. Never burnt or overheated the pot and it’s contents, pot has no burn marks inside or on the base. Blisters are same colour as rest of pot surface which looks brand new… Read more
other than the blistering. I Returned the pot to House where I purchased it, they said that I had overheated it and that's why it blistered. They then said that the surface had been weakened by heavy stiring, I asked them to show me why they thought that it had been heavily stirred, they then retracted the statement and went back to the argument that it had been overheated. They came accross as not being interested in accepting a return. They did commit to taking a photo of it and send it to the manufacturer. Check out the photos and make up your own mind, I would not recommend this product or the service from House, have purchased a wide range of things from them in the past, this is likely to be my last from them.
Lid exploded – I cooked our meal turned the stove off & next minute there was a loud bang. The lid shattered into our dinner. Do not buy, unsafe rip off. Show details

Baccarat Rock Customer service – My amazing Baccarat Rock set happened to have a faulty pot. The customer service officer Razelle, has been amazing. I have received my replacement pot hassle-free in no time. Highly recommended. Show details
Best frypans and saucepans EVER – Bought one about a year ago. Have now replaced all our pots and pans with Baccarat Rock. Friends have done the same. Absolutely non-stick and superb to cook with. Show details
Rock Pan – Had a Rock wok Pan for about 6 years the last two years i damaged it with wrong oils but over all i liked it a lot , im buying another one soon when on special .. Show details

No customer service – Like many other reviews one of our saucepans started leaking, you can clearly see where the base has separated, item is about 18 months old so we do not have the receipt, went into our local store and was given a customer service number which I have tried calling at least 12 times with out success, sent an email to customer support outlining our… Read more
issue and it has not been acknowledged. Disappointing, will now contact Fair Trading just on principle.
Value for money - Zero – Coating peels off during cooking and sticks to food which must then be thrown away. This product is only 2 years old, poor quality and potentially dangerous to health if you eat the food cooked in it. From reading other reviews, there seems little point in pursuing the warranty. Expensive, looks premium, low quality – Coating doesnt last, definitely not worth the price after 2 years peeling off base...this pot has only ever been used to cook rice. I dont keep 2 year old receipts and looking at reviews warranty means nothing anyway. Show details

Mark was a great help in dealing with some issues that I had with my Baccarat pans. He was responsive, fast and organised things efficiently and with ease. Much appreciated and a great experience. Thanks Mark! Show details
I had an issue with my Baccarat wok and raised my concern with their team. Razelle promptly addressed the issue and went above and beyond by providing a brand-new replacement under warranty—even after 5 years. Outstanding customer service and truly impressive support. Thank you for standing by your product! Show details

I bought one a few years ago. Loved it. Decided to throw away old frypans for 2 more earlier this year. Still look brand new and use them a least 3 times a week. Like my good knives I only handwash. would recommend if you look after things. Show details
If I could pick zero stars id select that – The Product was great for the first 2 months then it lost the non-stick ability and even though it clearly states "dishwasher safe on the pot, it only took 11 months to completely disintegrate. Now the pot leaks. Show details
In my opinion this is Junk – Terrible. House sell their house brand bBaccarat cookware with a lifetime warranty but do not honour it. Bought a $169 fry pan and after 2 years it’s no longer no stick. Only reason we paid that much was the warranty. Took it back and apparently I was told when I bought it not to use Olive oil on the fry pan. I wasn’t told that. If I had of been… Read more
told would not of purchased. Basically the warranty only covers the fry pan if you do not cook with it. The no cook no stick fry pan. Disgraceful conduct. Go and buy your pans at Aldi $20
TERRIBLE!!! – Definitely not dishwasher safe. Worn out badly after a few washes. Unfortunately I didn’t think that I have to keep the receipt for the “lifetime warranty “. So disappointed and angry! Show details
Coating coming off after 2 years. Surprise surprise not covered under warranty Don't waste your money – Handles can get hot and as the coating is coming off. Coating coming off. Going in the bin. Wish I had listened to reviews on this product. Beware no good. Show details
Hopeless – The frypan smells like burning plastic as soon as it gets hot. Cannot be healthy cooking with it. The handle keeps coming loose and part of it has cracked. Only 1 month old....I did not keep the receipt so probably will not get any warranty. Show details
Faulty products – Right... Would be good if your cooking sets actually weren’t faulty. I bough a Baccarat Rock 6 pieces cooking set, about a month ago, and one of the pots had a dent, which prevents the lid to close properly. I Contacted the distributor to replace the item and got the replacement... guess what? The replacement it’s also faulty!!! The same pot, the… Read more
28 cm sauté also has a dent + now there’s a lid also damaged. I couldn’t be more disappointed with their lack of quality control. I will never buy a product from that brand again!!!!!
Rock pan failed in 8 months – A 32cm rock fry pan bought 10 months ago at House in Essendon completely failed and when taking it to store under 25 year warranty, they refused to honour pointing out For similar reasons as the previous reviewers said. If the product can only be used under such and such very delicate situations to get the warranty - what use is it for? Someone needs to take them to test our Consumer Law. Show details
Frying pans meant for low to medium heat – After 2 years the nonstick properties were gone. Which was disappointing as I followed all the care instructions. When I returned them I got told that I had burnt them and they are only intended for low to medium heat and that I shouldn't go more then a 5 on my induction. Honestly they shouldn't be able to sell frying pans if you can't use them for their intended purpose of frying. Show details

Performance and Service Very Disappointing – At first I liked the Baccarat Rock 30cm frypan that I had purchased, but that changed after I used it for about two years. I followed the Care and Instructions to the letter. I never used spray-on oil, cooked at low to medium temperatures on a gas cooktop, and used flexible silicone or well-worn wooden utensils. I washed the only pan by hand with… Read more
mild dishwashing liquid and a sponge, soaking first as needed to loosen any stuck bits, and never using any kind of abrasive. Yet gradually, the non-stick property reduced until food stuck to the pan so badly, every time, that I stopped using the pan altogether. The Care and Instructions that came with the pan declared it to have a life-time warranty, so I took the pan back to the store where I purchased it -- a cookware store in Tweed City Mall. The clerk asked me if I had used olive oil to cook with, and I said yes, sometimes, although I also used peanut oil and sometimes butter. She said using olive oil invalidated the warranty because olive oil forms a fine coating that ruins the non-stick surface. I pointed out to her that the Care and Instructions for the pan says no such thing. The directions say that spray-on oil undermines the surface, but no mention was made of any other kind of oil. The clerk was adamant. I had admitted to using olive oil, so the warranty would not be honoured. Later in the day, I searched online for Playcorp, the entity that handles Baccarat warranties, as noted in the Care and Instructions, and found them at https://www.baccarat.com.au/warranty-info. I filled in the form on that website, explaining all this and sending photos of the pan, as recommended. That was weeks ago, and I have heard nothing, not even an acknowledgment that my message was received. I would not recommend purchasing the 30cm Baccarat "Rock" frypan. And I cannot at this time recommend purchasing any Baccarat product with a so-called lifetime warranty since the warranty is not honored by retail stores and the Playcorp firm that supposedly handles the warranty doesn't even give you the courtesy of a response when you send a complaint about the poor performance of the product and ask for advice on restoring the non-stick surface or activating the warranty.
Colour changed, non stick did last for 6 month – It was my christmas gift. I was so happy to have full 6 set of rock pan. Used 26cm frying pan most to cook fried rice using grepe seed oil. Noticed brown colours even after wash. Stickiness was getting worse and unusable. Took out 20cm frypan and used to make fried egg couple of times a week. Few month later, same phenamenon happened. I was… Read more
quietly confident despite all those experience as Baccarat offers life time guarantee. So I took them to the retailer but the first response from them was not positive. They blamed me for misuse. Main cause for discolouraion is too much heat and wrong oil, like oilve oil. Shock to hear those accusation. Anyway they sent the pan to the bacarrat for review with little hope. One month later, I got new pans for replacement. Not a bad effort by baccarat.
Don't trust the lifetime warranty – Rock frying pan 3 years old regular use lost non stick and it has a mark on it due to things sticking. they look for any excuse not to honor warranty. Show details
Wouldn't buy them again – I have had a couple of types of Baccarat frying pans, the latest is a 21cm rock. Very disappointed. As with other users that I have just read. I use olive oil, nothing mentioned in the instructions to say don't use olive oil, it does say not to use spray oils, which I never use. Every thing has just started sticking, cleaned as per instructions. I will be going back to stainless steel pans. Show details
Non stick doesn’t last – I was really disappointed that the fry pans in my 6 piece set now seem to stick, I called customer support and they advised I take them into the store of purchase for examination. The rep said “ oh, you used olive oil” as though I did something wrong! He suggested I clean it with vinegar but nope, that did nothing. I can only imagine I’m now going to struggle to get my money back or get a replacement. Show details
Best pans ever! – I've had a full set of Baccarat The Rock for well over a year now and they are the best I've ever owned. Never stick, easy to clean and cook evenly. I've never been so happy with a set of pot and pans. Show details
The best – I cook on a gas cooktop and the handles get fairly hot but other than that I have no issues. They are perfectly non stick. Lean meats etc turn out juicy and tender. Not too heavy. Great quality Show details
Fell apart in 2 months – My wife got a full set of these a few months ago and at first they were great. We have a normal gas top kitchen cooker and in less than 2 months both the frying pans handle assembly had crumbled and broken off leaving the pans unusable. The pots are going OK but l always have the flame turned right down for fear of the same thing happening. When… Read more
we told the store about it ( not Baccarat shop) we were told “ you cook too hot) so not interested in warranty. In the end we got a couple of frying pans from Coles and they are going great guns.
Started great, now everything sticks – I loved these when we first purchased them (6 piece set), but all the pots that we used for frying started sticking within 2 years. We're talking serious sticking, needing overnight soaking for absolutely everything. I never use spray oils, harsh scrubbers or metal utensils. The pots used for soups and other non fried foods are still fine, but… Read more
really it's the frying that you need the non stick pans for. I'll be returning the set and trying another brand.
Update: It's been a month since I returned these to Baccarat (place of purchase would not accept them so used the reply paid address on their website). No reply from Baccarat, even after phone calls and an email. Very disappointing so far. Will let you know if/when it gets resolved.
Final update: Well, it took over 2 months of weekly phone calls and emails, but finally they offered a replacement. Given the poor performance of the original set, and given that I had to purchase other cookware in order to return these, I requested a refund instead. Lessons learned: keep receipts, pay a few extra dollars for postage to get a signature that it has been received (so glad I did this) and persevere!
Really good cookware – My husband bought a set of these for me for a present. I always check the reviews and despite a large number of poor reviews I haven't had any problems. As long as you follow the maintenance instructions you should be able to cook non-stick without any problems. The pans are light weight and are excellent for stir fries, curries, steaks, eggs, and… Read more
fish. It is awesome for pancakes and omelettes. Never had a problem washing these pans and never had any burn marks or anything sticking. Very happy with them. It's been a year and still non stick and in great condition like new and I use them everyday.
Worst pan I have ever used – My husband bought Baccarat Rock 6 piece set as a wedding gift in 2017 and I haven’t started using it until jan 2018 as we were buying a house then. After 6 months of use it doesn’t work as a non stick pan at all. Rather it sticks everything to the pan and have to pour plenty of oil to prevent sticking to the bottom of pan which I think defeat the… Read more
purpose of buying expensive non stick pan. When I went the shop where we bought the pan , the customer service assstant wasn’t helpful at all and was trying to find a way to void the warranty
We are totally unsatisfied and I would never recommend buying this pan
It’s waste of your time and peace of mind
we purchased the baccarat rock pans online received great customer assistance from Eric we would certainly recommend these products Show details
Not good quality considering the price – My frypan no longer is non stick and it appears to have rust coming in the cooking area. Show details
