No Pressure, Disappointed, Pump Made In Italy, Motor By Honda – Bought this item through a western suburbs dealing saying it is the best on the market, (as they don't supply Karcher). Took it out to use today (after water restrictions have lifted), connected the water hose, pressure hose and trigger, turned on water, primed it to pressurize, then started to use. To get the maximum effect of pressure, the 45… Read more

deg nozzle, was next to useless as you had to be 2 inches away from the item you are pressure washing. I thought there had to be more pressure, I waited for the pressure to build up, pulled the trigger and it started spitting, without the normal pressure I was use, to on my old Karcher Honda powered washer. I used it on normal mains water supply, and tank water pumped by 240v motor. Both these supply rendered the Bar 2565H useless. Do not waste your time, stick with a product you have used before, and don't get conned into high pressure sales people who have never turned on a tap.

A serious petrol washer for larger jobs – I have a long driveway, large concrete areas round the house and brick & block retaining walls so I needed a washer that would run a15" patio cleaner as well as the usual duties. Flow rate is as important as pressure for a good result and It quickly became apparent that you won't get more than about 7 l/min out of even the most expensive 240v… Read more

electric washer. Don't be fooled by the misleading claims on the boxes, if they claim higher, it is as at the expense of pressure.

So it had to be petrol, and don't worry about the noise upsetting the neighbours!

I went for the BAR 2565H which handles 11l/min @ 2500 Psi, has a genuine Honda GX 6.5Hp four stroke motor and a Comet brass and ceramic pump: all this stuff is top of the range. It has pneumatic tyres but they are meaty enough to be used "run flat" all the time.

It started first time of course, isn't too noisy and works like a charm. It ripped through the work very quickly so the noise wasn't a problem. Don't compare this machine with the other look-alikes which often have fake Honda motors, lower duty and lesser quality.
