My stb as=pvr500r stopped working suspect power supply as no power going to hard drive and blue standby light off. Where can I get a power supply replacement board???

I have a Bauhn 1 tb HDDPRV with twin tunerModel no APVR-6950T on screen message is Boot ? un pluged and still the same , any ideas ? Bill

Yes, you can use Foxtel with any TV although I would not buy a Bauhn anything ever. The products are rubbish.

Returned this unit twice as reboot was shown and then nothing else. Tried pulling plugs, etc. nothing. Wish I knew what to do because now out of warranty and I bet it is easily fixed. Does anyone have a suggestion, e.g. opening unit?

Dana. These things are junk. Spend an extra few $$$ and get a Topfield. I did. It's brilliant. It's clever. And it works. They're 20% off at JB.

I found my Bauhn 1T PVR worked great, for many years, until I bought a new TV. It would not run on HDMI so I plugged it into the back on AV to watch what was stored. Forget any PVR, save your money towards a new TV. It does the PVR function. One less box is great.

well guys thx for your input, as Aldi didn't contact me, I bought a new unit via kogan, very happy

so far, but know my old unit could have been fixed easily , so had to lose money.

I have made the mistake of buying the new Aldi 1gb PVR. The EPG has stopped working. How can I restart the EPG?

I didn't even get that far before I returned it. I'd recommend getting a refund.

I need step by step directions on how to record a program on one tv channel and then watch a different channel at the same time.

Have just bought a Bauhn TV from Aldi and I cant seem to get a signal when hooking up to Foxtel

Sorry cannot help, have only got a Bauhn PVR which is still giving me grief. Spoke to their help desk the other day, although very obliging, could still not resolve issues.
