Universal remote – Hi I have a universal remote. I need to connected to satellite receiver. Can you help me please?

Dont waste your time – The remote stopped working so couldn't tune or program. NO buttons on the unit to do it externally either. Usless item now and just frustraighting. Cant even connect universal remote or find a replacement online. And if that, will it stop again like all other reviews?! I dont want to try! No support either! Dont waste your time, even if you score one for free..!!

always record the same programme twice.

Like most computer minded devices it would lock up if overloaded when recording to many things at once so switch off at the wall for 30 seconds to reset or buy a power board so the on/off switch is easy to reach.

-Conclusion, for $200 this Adie PVR is a good product but look around first for a more user friendly recorder.

Not a long lasting system – The box worked fine initially. It would hang and loose the settings on a regular basis which got fixed by reprogramming easily. worked for 2 years. no problems. No failsafe, no buttons on the unit (so if remote fails everything fails)

plastic cover – Bauhn made a very silly mistake. They covered the box with a very thin hard to notice sheet of plastic which causes the tuner to overheat. People will notice the tuner works fine for about 5 minutes untill it gets affected by heat. Nowhere in the manual you will find a hint to take the plastic off !!!! They tell you not to cover it and keep 10 cm space. Take the sheet of and it will work great. Great product failure in the manual

Terrible – The remote was dropped and no longer works. It's impossible to find help from anywhere to be able to program a universal remote so that it can continue to be used.Not the best for follow up help, to enable effective, continued use. finds most channel signals remote is small and buttons are very small. Unable to get any follow help from Aldi or any manufacturer as to how a universal remote may be used to enable continued use of the box.

Terrible – I have never been able to tune channel ten even though the tv and another pver (homecast) was able to do so. all the channels it did get kept pixelating and dropping out citing 'no signal' while other machines continued to receive signal. finally lost all channels except abc and sbs and when I tried to re-search and reinstall channels once again… Read more

but this time it packed it in. Overall poor investment. would not buy again. relatively cheap poor signal capture and wont hold stations. stopped working after 5 months

Terrible – Unable to find receipt so can't get refund support useless just blamed antenna I changed antenna brand new antenna (Digimatch) and new RG6 Quad cabling still doesn't capture anything wasted my time and money. poor quality all round, can't read EPG broke down in less than 5 months required constant channel reinstall and factory reset no firmware upgrades available

Good – Brought this unit about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. The remote control is slightly too small and hard to use. Also its hard to read teh writing to see whats on as the writting too small. Also so controls on box to change channels. But so far we love all the extra channels and like the box.Would recommend so far stylish, compact, good design small remote control Show reply
