Okay while it lasted – Purchased tablet in September 2013. Used intermittently. Worked okay. Probably less functional than equivalent Samsung tablet. Stopped working July 2016. Underwhelming support from Aldi after sales service who tried a factory reset which didn't work.

this is perfect for bin – This is very good tablet to buy and through in a bin after few months. Just wastage of money, pay more and go for good brand. This is my 4th product of same company and experience is same. When you saw prize it looks good, as every one mentioned but not worth buying any products coz it works good till replacement date and afterwards disaster.

Dead battery – Loved it until battery totally died after 18 months.I can still use it but it has to stay connected to power permanently which limits its use.Bit disappointed.

great when new, but a year of heavy use and its junk – Touchscreen unresponsive, runs by itself as though possessed, shuts down by itself, jumps from screen to screen on its own, keypad won't respond, movies accelerate by themselves, or rewind..., worst photos ever seen on a digital device, often can't be shut down and you need to push the reset button, can't upgrade to latest android, factory… Read more

resetting won't fix the issues. Often feel like smashing this thing in pieces. Never buy one, or accept one as a gift. You have been warned!.

Battery is an issue – Bought it on Saturday morning - now Sunday arvo and have recharged tablet 3 times. (on charger now) Taking it to the Melbourne cup for the form guide but doubt it will last the meeting. Apart from that - does what I expected and am still learning.

Battery useless – Greats phone, great price but constantly turns itself off as it believes the battery is too hot at 11C. Looses charge overnight even when using very little resources. Until the battery issue is fixed or replacement batteries are available I could not recommend this phone at all. I have had nothing but problems with it since day one and now at only 6 months old it is only fit for the bin.

Yeah whatever – This device starts off good because you're still in that phase of "I just picked up a bargain" joy thinking you're pretty clever. Give it a few weeks then the reality sets in. Screen is [censored word removed]..unresponsive and slow.. x5 for the utterly useless keyboard. Resolution for movies is pathetic..all blurry. Speaker doesn't work on mine… Read more

so can't Skype, or make normal calls, tablet reboots itself when I try to use it as a phone.

I know these are singular issues on my device, but in general you should buy this device purely to look at Facebook and check an email now and then. Seriously anything more, go buy yourself a proper device and save yourself the trouble of returning it a few weeks later. Battery is also [censored word removed], lasts about 2 hours of just normal web browsing, play a movie I recon you'll get about 45 mins out of the battery. Worked beautifully when it was still in the box Took it out of the box

Great BUT battery goes flat quick – Loved it, even takes a sim for phone calls and does everything high end tablets do but the battery goes flat after 4-5 hrs constant use. No good for taking to work in a truck :( comes with 60 days satisfaction guarantee so returned it after 3 weeks Absolutely no probs with Aldi returning it. Gotta luv Aldi Return policy Battery goes flat too quick

Great Tablet - get one if u can – This is the Quad core model latest offer from aldi @ $229. Fast after settling in and setting up all your stuff, battery is good for a couple hrs and touch is OK. Notice scroll isnt as smooth as samsung but hey can live with it for half the price of a Ipad. Mine had a little smudge under the glass that is noticeable on white background. (but… Read more

Great Tablet – Forget the low price, this is a great tablet. Don't be scared of because it is from Aldi, this tablet has done everything I have thrown at it. I started with the $169 8" tablet. That was a disaster. It went back in a week, but the 10.1" isn't just bigger but faster, more user friendly and a perfect size. I bought one for my wife so I can use mine. Would recommend. price not always available to buy ( an Aldi stock thing ) Show reply

It is OK – When you buy the cheapest of something you don't always expect it to do the job properly. The touch screen keyboard on this lower end of the range tablet works well. The pre-installed email client can be set up to do everything that Outlook Express can do. eg. Download from yahoo mail and hold on the tablet. It is easy to connect to a computer… Read more ·  2
