Cooks well, dual ring burner cooks fast too – Purchased this is 2017 and have been really happy with this cooktop. Cooks well, the rear rapid burner cooks fast and the touch control is easy to use. The child lock function has been handy as well so no one accidentally turns it on. Show reply

Perfect cooking – Purchased one last year for a rental and this cooktop has kept up really well, cleans easy, the dual burner on the back can be used to cook faster! Touch controls are not detrimental & basically don't annoy me if something gets on it and restarts like others! Really happy with this cooktop!  Show details

Worst cooktop I have ever had! – Worst cooktop I have ever had! Can't get the large hot plate to work and is so touchy takes me ages to cook any vegetables without burning them. Try to turn off one hot plate and they all turn off! The oven is just as bad burns everything on the outside and doesn't cook the inside!  Show details

Glass top cracks – I have hardly used this cooktop, but when I do I'm extremely careful, and use proper cookware designed for induction tops. Dismayed to find small cracks appearing on the glass top.....faulty glass as nothing I have done - eg turn it on and use to cook stirfry, or make a sauce - should have caused this. bcc600 – this is the worst appliance I have ever bought. It takes an age to boil anything and if you want to turn down and simmer then forget it. A pan of boiling spuds takes 10 minutes to reduce to a simmer so don't try it at all with a sauce it will burn to the pan in no time. activate itself whilst switched off. It once took that long to deactivate the lock we rang for a take away because we couldn't switch anything on. When I contacted baumatic they simply were not interested. If your reading this Baumatic, please contact me if you have any intention of helping me. A gas hob would be nice and I am willing to pay. nothing slow to react lockswithout warning

worst cooktop ever – I regret purchasing this cooktop. It takes a long time to heat a good quality pan and there does not seem to be enough heat to keep water boiling. The other day I heated the frying pan for 15 minutes before trying to brown 500gms of minced beef....it took another 20 minutes to complete the job. Very disappointing. it is a good looking cook top. Does not get hot enough to keep water on the boil.
