Useless battery and really flimsy charger – When I bought this unit I ordered a spare battery expecting to get around 15 minutes per battery based on experience with another brand's similar model. The disappointing reality is that I am lucky to get 10 - 12 minutes of continuous use between BOTH batteries. Forget about 'quick charge' from the extremely flimsy charger as it takes at least 3 hours before you will get the green light. To add insult to injury, you will then struggle to remove the battery from the charger due to the charger being both extremely light and smaller than the battery.
This unit is probably OK for a quick sweep of the paths and driveway but don't expect it to do any serious work.
Purchased in at Edisons for $101.
expected life of rechargeable battery – how long could i expect the battery to last before need ing replacement . how would i know that the battery is in fact unchargeable and reason unit fails to start
Purchased for $100.
Excellent leaf blower! Lightweight and surprisingly powerful – Bought this leaf blower for $80 from eBay (had a special promo on, normally $99). Great little product, very light and surprisingly powerful and much quieter than petrol blowers plus no nasty fumes etc.. Has 2 speed settings which is handy - the slower setting allows you to create piles of debris without blowing stuff all over the place. Previously I had a Makita 2 stroke leaf blower - this was a great unit but very noisy and much more power than I needed for my garden. Note that the Baumr product is not as powerful as the petrol blowers but more than sufficient for use around a normal garden.
