First rate good. First rate service – Easy to deal with when booking and absolutely first rate delivery of food/ services. I'd recommend to anyone looking for catering for a special occasion.

Disappointing BBQ Spit Roast – I was somewhat disappointed with the food and service of BBQ Spit Roast. I booked the Classic Spit Roast Package only to get roast pork and roast beef that needed lots of gravy to be able to eat. The food reminded me RSL food, only not as good. Both meats were dry and the salads (esp the caesar) were tasteless. There was so much left over food that unfortunately went to waste. The chef onsite used all the kitchen space and I didn't realise that he would be washing all the utensils and equipment at the home after the event using lots of water. Thankfully I had guests who helped to dry and put everything away. The chef was also running behind time because he was busy chopping the salads which I think could have been pre-made saving time.

Absolutely perfect catering company – I booked BBQ Spit Roast Catering for my husband's 50th birthday. From the moment I contacted the company I knew I was in good hands. Stephanie looked after me, she was knowledgeable, easy to approach and very patient. She took the time to explain all the different services they offer and what would be the best option for the party. I bought the Gourmet Spit Roast for 50 people and that was more than plenty. We still have left over meat in the freezer. I paid around $1700 for 50 and this price included, all catering services + a chef for the night (5 hours), gourmet finger food,Slow Roasted Beef with a rich jus Pulled, Pork with a hickory glaze, Rosemary Lamb with mint jelly, Oven roasted chicken pieces, Baby Chat Potato's (2 per guest), Dinner Rolls and individual butter serves 5/6 gourmet side selections, Assorted Individual Gourmet Cheesecakes, Gourmet Tarts and Gourmet Cake Slices, Disposable Dinnerware - for main and dessert. And if this was not enough, we had an incredible chef who was an absolute gem! Thank you BBQ Spit Roast Catering, we will definitely book your services again!
