Not a 'Cream' – I'm sure the product works well as an antiseptic, however a "cream" it is not. The consistency of the medium varies wildly with temperature. In summer it is near liquid, while in winter it becomes a gel that's impossible to squeeze from the tube. "cream - a thick liquid or semi-solid cosmetic or medical preparation applied to the skin" - Oxford/Google Show details

Caution! Contains Benzalkonium Chloride! – The main ingredient in this cream is benzalkonium chloride - this ingredient is a serious skin irritant and has been withdrawn from use in skin products overseas. It can cause contact dermatitis that looks like a chemical burn. Use another type of antiseptic cream if you have sensitive skin, eczema or are avoiding benzalkonium chloride. I’ve thrown my tube of this cream away. Show details

Bepanthan Antiseptic – This is an amazing product it swiftly clears up mosquito bites and any scratches that begin to appear as bub starts gaining their wobbly legs. We have quite the adventurer and it's been an essential product for grazed knees and cuts. I used it for some of my own blisters and a mild allergic contact based reaction I had to a plant recently. cleared up very quickly. A must have for the first aid kit and a very versatile product. It's also good for chapped/dry lips.

Very disappointing – I was using bepanthen for years to treat sunburns. But this one is just overpriced baby cream. It even doesn't have pantenol as ingredient. The skin remains oily after application. Show details

My go to for cuts and wounds – I've been using Bepanthen for a few years now. I keep it in stock, because I'm clumsy, and it protects any cuts or grazes while helping heal. I don't bother with anything else, because it works so well. Show details

Helps to quickly heal and smooth out skin – I had this product at home, because the maternal nurse recommended it for my daughter (3 months old at the time) who was having weeping skin folds. I didn't think it really did anything for that, but I may not have given it time to work, so I stopped using it and just kept it in the diaper bag for a barrier cream. I pulled it out recently… Read more

because my daughter (now almost 8 months old) had scratched her arm so badly that she looked like she fell off a bike and grazed her whole right arm. It was all scabby, with some fresh new scratch wounds. After her bath I noticed that her wound were weepy, and I didn't want her to get an infection. I remembered that the Bepanthen had Antiseptic to help stop infection, and I remember my brother using it for a fresh tattoo. So I just lathered it all over her arm. After liberally applying the Bepanthen a few times that day I saw noticeable improvements.

Her aunty saw her on Saturday (at it's worst) and by Monday it was practically gone, she was so amazed at how much her skin had changed over those few days.

I'm really impressed by this whole thing, especially because my daughter is prone to itching and eczema. Her skin since birth has been always been extremely dry, irritated, and weepy. It's only ever smooth from using steroids. But right now it feels incredibly smooth! I just can't believe it. This product has had a large contribution to healing her skin and keeping it well moisturised, without irritating her further. But I also believe that the new skin care routine that I've put her on (bath in Pinetarsol, moisturise with QV Lotion) has helped get her skin smoother than ever before.

This product needs 10000 stars – I absolutely love this cream. It has so many uses but my favourite is NAPPY RASH! Dont confuse it with the blue tube which i find is only good for prevention. This white tube of bepanthem has been known to cure nappy rash in just 1 application in our house. Making for happy mums and bubs. I cannot rave more about this product and i tell everyone… Read more

at mothers group! If your child has nappy rash this should be your go to cream! texture, how quick it works

Don't get this confused with Bepanthen Ointment!!! – This cream is a 'miracle cure-all'... Not just for nappy rash, however it is brilliant for that :) Slather it on thick when nappy change time and keep it up for a couple of changes and you will see the redness disappear! ALSO... If you have split nipples- I had really badly cracked nipples when breast-feeding, I put this on at the end of a feed,… Read more

and 4 hours later I was able to handle the next feed it genuinely facilitated the healing process...

If you have a raw blister, put a big blob of Bepanthen Antiseptic Cream on a band-aid when you go to bed and I guarantee you will have the start of a new layer of skin healing by morning (won't be COMPLETELY fixed, but you will be able to touch it and actually wear shoes- with a band-aid of course- the very next day)

My partner used to tease me about my obsession with this cream (even made him do a half hour return trip back to the shop when he came home with the 'other' (wrong) Bepanthen), until his heels started to crack one summer. I used Band-Aid 'Tough Strips' and a big blob of Bepanthen right in and around the crack after his shower and before he went to bed one night- and the next day he was ale to weight bear on that heel again! If you have had BADLY cracked heels you will know that this is no easy task! Three days and nights of Bepanthen and bandaids and the cracks were completely closed...! Thick cream was very effective, amazing soothing and healing properties, smells great People often get it confused with the Bepanthen Ointment- DON'T, because the Ointment doesn't work anywhere near as well, have to be careful not to get it on sticky part of bandaids- cause bandaids will not stick if you do...

Didn't help nappy rash – Was recommended this by my GP but found it pretty useless for clearing nappy rash. The product comes out of the tube nice and thick but sort of melts onto the skin and thins out, leaving not a great barrier. Easily available, relatively inexpensive. Didn't clear up my baby's nappy rash and I felt I wasted a day of the rash not getting better by using this.

OK – This product is great to use when your child doesn't already have nappy rash. But in our case my son did already have nappy rash, and Bepanthen didn't clear it at all. - Great barrier - Prevents nappy rash - Didn't clear my sons nappy rash.

Good – This product worked wonders for is when nothing else could clear up our daughters nappy rash. It provided a great barrier and allowed our daughters rash to clear up quickly. This was recommended to us when our daughter was suffering nappy rash as a result of a staf infection. This worked wonders and provided great healing relief for our… Read more

daughters bottom. We have since starting using it for chaffed skin and it works wonders for that as well. Little bit expensive but totally worthy it.

Excellent – I loved this product and would highly recommend it. It is cost effective, especially in the larger tubes. The thick googey cream goes on easily and provides a good solid barrier agaist urine and / or feaces. The cream is non fragranced making it perfect for little sensitive bottoms. This is easily available from supermarkets making it easy to… Read more

purchase when doing the household shopping. I used this all the time when my daughter was in nappies. She never once had a red bottom or ever experienced nappy rash. The cream lasts a long time on the skin. The larger tubes were hard to squeeze out all of the cream, so like toothpaste often went to waste.

Excellent – Bepanthen has such good products. The cream does a fantastic job with nappy rash as well as a barrier cream. A little goes a long way and it works quickly. Wouldnt use any other brand. Really nice creamy formula. Cant top it.

Good – Although a little bit expensive, I have used this on my older child and am now using it on my 8 month old baby as I have found it very effective when their little bottoms become red and sore which nappy rash. It has a great thickness to it and creates a nice barrier to not only heal their nappy rash, but protect their bottom from getting worse.… Read more

This is one of the best nappy rash creams on the market. I have even used it for cuts and abrasions which has worked very well. Great nappy rash relief, thick barrier cream expensive

Excellent – We use this as an all round antiseptic cream for everything including rashes, open sores/cuts, pimples and heaps more. This has replaced all our other creams and I even find it works on shaving rash. Love that it comes in two sizes - the small sized tube is very handy for the nappy bag. Protects and heals - our house use this for everything! You only need a small amount so it's great value for money.

Excellent – Bepanthan has a great consistency and is almost opaque so that after you apply it you haven't got a big mess everywhere. It actually heals the nappy rash or any other minor skin irritations while it protects. There is no other nappy rash cream I would use other than Bepanthen and recommend it to all my friends. It comes in a small and large… Read more

tube and the large tube lasts for a long time. The small size is great for the nappy bag. Bepanthen Nappy Cream really is the number one nappy rash cream. It is not thick and gluggy like other creams.
