Hello Nellie - The magnets in your underlay will last a lifetime. Other components like the cotton or wool however will undergo normal ageing from wear and tear. I would suggest that if the materials look like they are nearing the end of their life - and you will be the best judge of that - it may be time to consider replacement.

So these are not a problem at all, what I would suggest is to remove the magnetic pillow protector for now, place the U/L back on to the bed so we can target the inflammation in your hip area & with hope have you back sleeping better & pain free again.

And, yes, it does happen that way with some people. Others experience tingling or other minor sensations. This kind of response can be more noticeable at the beginning - and is an indication that the magnets are having the deisired response of helping to increase the peripheral circulation. MARIO, there have been quite a few case studies done with magnetic therapy and diabetes. Again, it's to do with circulation. Although the jury is still out in the scientific community, many swear by its help.
