Black Wolf Classic 25

The ultimate, and best small pack ever – I wanted to let everyone know that I absolutely love the quality of Blackwolf products. I bought a Blackwolf (black and white with red bungee cording) Classic 25 backpack when I was around 17 - 18 years old (can't quite remember, as its been a long time). I bought it with the first lot of savings I had in my apprenticeship, I chose it because a… Read more
friend recommended it, and it was a small enough size that I liked it, at the time I didn't want something too large. Its seen daily use as my regular work bag, taking all manner of things from warm winter clothes, to lunches, to random bits of junk I've found on the way home. It has been used well, and treated a little roughly I will admit. I've taken it camping, and hiking, I've filled it with clothes and used it as a pillow. I'm now 37 years old, I've had that bag for almost 20 years, 2 whole decades. After all these years, the first thing to fail on it is the clear plastic strip that the slider of the sternum strap holder can move up and down on. I have no way to repair this myself, and as I love having the sternum strap, I'm now forced to buy a new pack. I want to let you all know, that I am once again buying a Blackwolf pack, and this time, I'm going with a 30L size, as the 25L was just a bit too small on the odd occasion. Honestly, I'm quite lucky it didn't break sooner, as I really crammed a lot of stuff into it over the years. I'm deeply saddened to have to replace it, but it's seen so much, been so many places and well and truly served its time as an amazing top quality pack. I will keep it and hopefully I can still find a use for it, just not as my daily pack anymore. I want to thank you all at Blackwolf for making such an amazing quality product, I'm so very grateful to your dedication to making top quality gear. The green arrows in the pics attached show where it failed. Everything else is still 100% completely functional. I love this bag.
Great bag. Highly recommend – We bought this bag for our almost 4y.o old for pre-school. Great, comfortable fit. Quality materials used and it's the perfect size for little ones to fit a decent sized lunchbox, water bottle and spare clothes without being too bulky. It feels like a bag that will get plenty of use even throughout primary school. Received very quickly in the… Read more
mail as it was posted out almost immediately as part of the Black Friday sales. We were lucky to get this on sale but would have happily paid full price for it. We have other Black Wolf backpacks. They are superior to many other brands.
Black Wolf Classic 25 – Light weight and not pricey. Well compartmentise. Great ideal having a whistle but need to improve the decibels. Comfortable shoulder strap which has a clip for hydration hose which many fancy brand don't provide. Fit your rain, feather down jacket, thermal blanket, 2 liters hydration bladder and bottle water and throw in whatever you fancy eating… Read more
on your beat. Good for foot city and 'light' hiking for six hours without having to lumbered bigger backpack.
Durable bag – I bought this bag about 5 years ago and other than it being a little worn around the edges, its still very much intact and carrying all my gear with me be it a day hike or my daily commute to work. The bag sits very comfortably on my back and even with some weight in it, the straps are well padded and do not dig into my shoulders. Smaller… Read more
compartments and dividers make organising my gear easy and keeps smaller items tucked away and safe.
Have since purchased a different brand bag for a bit more space, but finding myself preferring to use this bag. great little purchase!
A great all rounder – I love this backpack. Its quality is excellent and its comfortable and durable. It is my go to bag for cycling walking riding and simply a day out. I have had this bag for nearly 3 years and its still like new. I use it atleast 3 times per week for my commute to work Bike rides bushwalks etc. It is now the only carry on bag i take on holidays. I would reccomend and would be lost without it.
Just right for everyday – A great little day pack that has space for water, food and a camera. But it wouldn't accommodate much more. As it sits high on the back (because it's small - no waist strap), I find it hard to swing around and unzip one handed to get out my keys/wallet. I'm still working out the mechanics so I can do this a little more elegantly. Also the zipper… Read more
covers (to aid in waterproofing) are deep and sometimes get in the way. But if you're not going in and out of your bag as often as I do this won't be a problem. I recently used my Black Wolf Tempo 30 on my back and the Black Wolf Classic 25 on my front and it worked very well. Small but enough internal space for a water bottle and jumper Not easy to get into the zippers one handed
Keen weekly walker, around 8-12 km walks, 2-3 times a week (am 73 years old) – wonderful choice for the above, held my water bottle, snack and lunch, and I was also able to buy supplies for home, easily fitted into the bag. I also have a much larger Black Wolf back pack that I have used around New Zealand, light and incredibly strong, which is why I have chosen the day pack for everyday use. I am a devoted fan! light, strong and wil just the right number of compartments. absolutely nothing
