Not happy after about 2 years .. it worked totally fine and then out of the blue it stopped recording with the pcr. I unplugged & reseted it but nothing worked. Not sure if I buy the same brand. Had a TEAC before & worked for years.
Bought this for my Parents as they needed to replace an old Digital TV Converter, Plugged in, channel scan and its working perfectly, the unit picks up remote signal even from very far away, the old one had to press hard on the remote and be near the unit, anyway, enough about the old unit, this unit is also very small and compact, making it easy to move it to the other ATV Televison, it even has HDMI aswell as your AV cable. I highly reccomend this product.

Does the job effortlessly – Bought from JB HiFi for $49 yesterday after my last one died after 5 years. I asked my AI to do a comparison on this one and the Big W Laser STB. It advised that the Blaupunkt had a better user interface, easier to use and generally better built... so I bought it. So far so good for only $12 difference. Plugged it in, turned it on, did a channel scan, watch TV. Could not be easier. The interface is very similar to my previous STB, nothing flash, but all the features I expected are there.

Software problem, not sure but there is a problem – Bought the device from JB-HiFi in Dec/2022 for $36. The problem started a bout a year after purchase. There seems to be a software problem. The device keeps repeat refreshing itself. Cannot remedy the problem. Stop the machine, disconnect the power, nothing works.
