Worn out – Agree with last review. Item worked well to begin but then begun an annoying screech. On inspection the bush on the gear end of the motor flogged out. Have given up the search for a replacement. Is price prohibitive even if I could get one. Cheaper to replace. Thing is still working but feel it's going to hit the bin. Item was part of a prize pack… Read more

and clearly don't believe it should last forever, and it has done some solid work on doors and trim, not really sure what to expect. Sanders are notoriously weak due to the excessive vibration. However it seems like it's only still in new like condition, even the battery holds charge.

Very handy but very short life, – Used this possibly about 20 times over 4 years since new and was a very good and versatile sander while it lasted but then drive gear on motor came loose and burned out the motor. Barely even had a chance to use the new sanding sheets I bought for it. I have four Bosch power tools and have had problems with all of them. Examination shows them… Read more

to be poorly designed &/or made and do not justify their high price, Will avoid Bosch tools in future.

Sand Paper works better – Yeah I know it's cordless and light weight but that shouldn't make it almost useless. I bought this during a renovation and used it twice then gave it to my 10 year old son. It is much like a toy. No for anything bigger than a dinner plate. I wouldn't sand a timber window with it, let alone a door or anything big. You need to use over grit paper… Read more

just to get the job done and that ruins your masterpiece! Small and easy to handle Slow and takes forever to get the job done. Pricey.

Good – Not a bad little sander. If you want something for small to medium sized projects then this is the sander for you. Bosch make really good quality power tools and I'm happy with my latest buy. It's a great little sander if a little "chunky". Fits in the palm of your hand and sands for ages! The battery is really strong and the vibration you get is… Read more

small in comparison to other sanders. It is great having a cordless sander cos I don't need to worry about cords anymore! The price is a little steep for what it is. Some cordless drills are cheaper!!!

works really well – got this for a small job to renovate my kitchen cabinets. Power is quite good and does a good job sanding. Would not buy alternatives for sanding pads. Works really good on MDF surfaces and plastic. The instructions were quite easy to follow for a person who is not a professional builder. easy to operate need to get constant supply of sanding pads

Excellent – This is an essential piece of kit if you are into furniture restoration and smaller jobs around the house, however even with the larger jobs it makes life easier with the ability to sand right into corners. This is an excellent piece of equipemt to have in your kit. The ability to change the pads quickly and easily makes it a versatile sander and… Read more

polisher that leaves a great finish every time.

It's quick charge battery means you have a much shorter wait time between use. It can get into the smaller spaces that manual sanding doesn't. The hand grip is a little bit big and can become uncomfortable with extended use.
