diameter) because it would fit into my old cistern but when I decided to upgrade my toilet Suites (had to look that word up on google), I found the Bowl Fresh heavy glass bowls would fit. Tbe Bowl Fresh is 75mm diameter and 101mm high, and it sinks to the bottom when water entes the holes in the plastic top. I place it down gently as my tank is ceramic, not plastic. And yes, you have to put your hand in the tank to retrieve the empty one, which like the Flushmatics and the other type I tried, always seem to have enough blue left in them to make a mess if you're not careful. I've learnt that quite a few times. Taking them out of the tank I up-end them to drain them of water and have a few squares of toilet paper handy to put under the now-dripping empty container so I can get it to the sink without making a big blue mess. Then rinse with water until there is no blue coming out. Now it's safe to transfer to the recycle bin. With my old cistern there wasn't enough space to fit the 75mm diameter of the Bowl Fresh - it wouldn't sit right. So I was happy the design of the plunger mechanism had changed on the newer cisten. Since Jan 2023 I have purchased Bowl Fresh 3 times (the last two times from First One Australia, Cabramatta or thereabouts, see them on eBay). I have ordered 6, then 12 and the latest was 24, which I hope will last a couple of more years. They come in Lavender and Lemon, although to be honest, I don't seem to be able to smell anything these days. But both 'flavours' produce blue water. Mine have lasted from a low of 39 days (still don't know why) to a high of 112 days. The main bathroom had a run of 159 days and 180 days (from Feb 24 to Jan 25), but the normal range is aroung 90 to 110 days (depending who is staying over and for how long. So, my opinion, they're a good replacement for no-longer-available Harpic Flushmatics. They work out maybe $6 - $7 each (cheaper if you're lucky). My last 24 order worked out at $5.77 each. Make sure there's room in your cistern to fit their 75mm diameter shape, and don't mind putting your hand in the cistern to retrieve the empties. I ordered last Sunday and it was delivered last Tuesday. The time before it took 7 days.

Bad design – If the water level is not high enough in your toilet bowl, it doesn't work. But if the water level is high enough (as in my second toilet) it is impossible to get it out as it has curved sides and is slippery when wet (as I found out after I dropped it, and it turned my floors, my walls and my newly cleaned toilet blue). Show details

Bowl Fresh Automatic Toilet Cleaner – This is the best toilet bowl cleaner on the market, it lasts fresh smelling for months. It is easy to install and directions on jar and hints for best results are good. I can't understand why Woolworths stop selling it.? I am so impressed I will have find out where to get a box full.

These are the bees knees – Excellent product. I use it commercially. Woolies have stopped stocking it. I have found a supplier. First One Australia. I think they are in NSW somewhere. I am about to order a box of them and hopefully i can continue to get them.

it is great – I think it is the best I have ever used bought it well over two months and it is just going of now I looked up where I can by more of it because the last time I went to woolworths to get more they didnt have it so can anyone tell where I can buy it

I am happy with this product – Strange on how some say its no good. I brought mine months ago and it still remains blue, Granted it was a fading blue, but it lasted for months. I suppose it depends on how often you use the toilet, and how many people. tub.. I was so worried it would stain the walls, and I quickly cleaned it up and lucky had some water close by as it may of stained if left longer. . If it does not work for others maybe they are doing something wrong or got a faulty one. For me I am very happy with this product.

Value for money – Have had no issues with this product and does what it says and keeps going for months and months. Just make sure you follow instructions on where it is to placed in cistern.

worth the try – it lasts for more than 3 months in water tank, I highly recommend this product I have used these products for nearly a year for 3 toilets. I bought at Woolies.

Waste of money – Thought I would try this as it sounded easier to use than Harpic Flushmatic. Put in toilet cistern on Sunday - not blue anymore on Tuesday! Will go back to using Harpic.

Bowl Fresh Tablets are the worst ever – Bowl Fresh Tablets do not dissolve and become a HUGE clump of slime. Don't use!

A cleaner crafted by the hands of Gods – The makers of this product either have Godly powers or they have made a deal with the Devil. ask me why, I just do. But I placed this bad baby in my toilet in December of 2013 and now that it's June the water is still blue! How is that possible? What black magic is this!? This is not a main toilet, perhaps flushed three times a day and all day during parties, but come on! it has lasted 6 months and it’s still blue! I don't really care if a product claims to make the flush smell good or it makes the toilet bowl easier to clean. All I care is about sweet blue water and crikey this thing delivers. Makes you feel good about the life choices you have made I want to use more but I only have two toilets
