Bigger Boyz Toyz – Lawn mower My mother purchasted a push button start self propelled lawnmower from Bigger Boyz Toyz (BBT) on 20th October 2022 thinking it would help me with my injury. I received the mower and I was ver happy with it. It only worked for a few months before it would no longer start by battery or manually as a normal mower. I rang the company stating what happened and they stated it was probably one of the batteries that were known to be faulty. They sent me a replacement battery pack. I received the battery pack and installed it. When I tried to start it, it gave six beeps. I rang the company and they stated it does not beep six times. The asked for pictures of this. After a few calls I dcided to correspond by email for proof of their corranspondence. This contuned until 11/10/2023. I then contacted the Office Of Fair Trading. They were only able to arrange for a new battery (again) and a new starter moter. Both useless as it would not start manually (thanks to my neighbour for this). I now have a useless lawnmower in my shed. If anyone is thinking of purchasing some them, I WOULD BE VERY WARY.
Due to personal reasons, I decided to purchase a new battery. Charged it and... it turned the mortor over but now it won't start. Another waste of money!!!

Next in the saga.... I had the lawnmower serviced by a mecanic who did eventually get it going. That lasted a few weeks. During that time I found the belt drive had brocken and the blades needed replacing. They sent these items quickly but did something I've never come across before, they did NOT supply nuts and bolts for the blades. A trip to Bunnings lawn mower section and asked for help in getting nylon inserted bolts (these are a one time use item) without luck. He then took me to the nuts and bolts where he found a suitable nut. I'm not sure but I think they were a M10 nut with the nyon inside. Now I get three beeps when I try to start it. This indicates the battery is flat. When I question why they become useless so quickly he replyed "customers usually buy a new battery pack every one to two years". Later on in the conversation he said "three to four years" I was told i would need to purchas a new battery pack at $60.00. I stated this is not how long the battery should last. I was then offered a new battery pack at $45.00. I have decided to and replace the batteries myself as I have the same batteries and a charger.
