that an electric mower has many advantages such as lots of power and no need to charge batteries, as well as being cheaper. The only down-side is the need to keep the power cord out of the way. Anyway this mower lived up to my expectations and being reasonably light it's much easier to move around on the uneven ground of my property. It handles tall grass and weeds very well.
However I have to comment that the assembly instructions supplied with it are unclear and confusing. I had to keep referring to the photos of a complete mower to work out where all the parts go. Overall I recommend it.️ ️

there. The mower is light weight and easy to move and as a result the mower demands that I use it with care. Cut a couple of small areas of very long kikuyu grass. To adjust the height of cut is tricky as there is no lever to set the height but is adequate once set. With care it cut the long grass and the catcher filled quickly and is easy to remove and replace. The safety switch is typically annoying and awkward to use but works adequately. The mower is suitable for small areas of grass and if used with consideration to its build quality seems to be reasonable value for money and capable of keeping the grass cut.

due to this design fault. Sadly, like other users here, I had a previous Flymo for over a decade and was very happy with it. I do not recommend this product.

me with my injury. I received the mower and I was ver happy with it. It only worked for a few months before it would no longer start by battery or manually as a normal mower. I rang the company stating what happened and they stated it was probably one of the batteries that were known to be faulty. They sent me a replacement battery pack. I received the battery pack and installed it. When I tried to start it, it gave six beeps. I rang the company and they stated it does not beep six times. The asked for pictures of this. After a few calls I dcided to correspond by email for proof of their corranspondence. This contuned until 11/10/2023. I then contacted the Office Of Fair Trading. They were only able to arrange for a new battery (again) and a new starter moter. Both useless as it would not start manually (thanks to my neighbour for this). I now have a useless lawnmower in my shed. If anyone is thinking of purchasing some them, I WOULD BE VERY WARY.
Next in the saga.... I had the lawnmower serviced by a mecanic who did eventually get it going.… Read more (+1 reply)
