Dear Member, Could anyone confirm that Brother MFC-L2713DW is capable of two- sided scanning and if so, How?
This model does not support double-sided scanning. Not sure which models do, it appears the MFC-L2750DW does, but strongly suggest check with Brother themselves before buying in case Aussie version is different.
Thank you
DOES MFCL2713DW have colour toners
The MCF-L2713DW is a mono printer, which means it prints in one colour. Typically it only prints black text on whatever paper you put in the tray. It does not print in colour, so it won't print pictures. If you want to print text in one different colour (e.g., all blue or red, instead of black), then you need to contact a toner recycler to see if they'll indulge you. I don't believe this is offered normally.
I am having no end of trouble scanning from this device (Brother MFC -L2713DW) to my Windows 10 laptop. I have scanned before no trouble, but suddenly, when I hit the "start" button it just beeps.
Can anyone help please?
Delete all instances of Brother printers from your laptop using the Brother tool to uninstall old printer drivers. Link below: external link Run the utility, then restart your laptop. Check Device Manager to make sure you have no Brother printer driver showing.
It may be prudent to now use CCLEANER to clean out your registry (do this first) and then clean browser cache/cookies (do this last). This is TWO actions.
After this, restart your laptop, make sure it runs ok.
Then, do a full install from the DVD that came with your printer. If not you can download the full setup file: Link below: external link
You may need to connect your laptop to the printer by USB initially (just follow the instructions).
The next step depends on how you use it (network, direct wifi, cable) - individual taste. I use network as I have multiple devices printing to the printer via internet.
