Burger Rings

What did you do?! These are a pale, sad imitation of the iconic burger rings of my childhood. Shame on you. Is there a single chip brand left in Australia that hasn't gone downhill? Won't ever buy this again.

Cheap, no brand rubbish in a branded packet – These are not the Burger Rings I grew up with. They have no taste, the texture is completely different. They don't even smell like they used to. They did the same thing to Toobs. Hey ALDI can you copy these but make them good again? Show details

Not the same but not bad – I see a lot of whining about this snack not being the same and whatever. Boohoo things change i for one still love them and still buy them today. They be smaller and crunchier but I prefer the crunch and the flavour still good aswell. Another classic bites the dust! – First time having burger rings since I was a kid in the 90s and 00s, wow burger rings have changed a lot, lacked the flavour punch, except being spicier, but more like a puffed corn ring than the dense rings thinner rings we all knew and loved. Not sure why companies change a good thing but if you want a better snack that's similar to these go cheezels with way more flavour. Show details

80’s down the drain – I have contacted Smith before regarding the increasing lack of flavour in their chips… And I bought burger rings today for the first time in about 15 years… Total, total total disappointment. screamed out for that sweet tangy mouth watering flavour of a previous life. Burger rings! I was scared. I was hoping. I was only brave enough to purchase the small bag. Alas, even my dog refused to eat them, and he loves plain Cruskits... The Burger Rings disappointed more than Toobs and Ovaltine.

Horrendous – I'm disappointed that i had to pick one star these new burger rings deserve no stars. They are hard, crunchy , holey the texture is terrible and no flavour you can lick off.. these use to be the best chips for 20 years. They have been crap for the last few years. The new burger rings are terrible! – I used to eat burger rings all the time, now the texture is horrible. They're all bubbly and scratch up my mouth. These were my favourite as a child, but now I never want to see them again and neither does my scratched up mouth!

My alltime fav chips are dead to me – What the fark happened, i hate that my fav chips since i was a kid are horrible now. 30yrs of loving burger rings, id rather eat the aldi varient. The person who changed the recipe needs to be sacked. How about you just make the bag size smaller like other brands do if you need to cut costs. But dont mess with the ingredients.

Burger rings stuffed! – WTH. Why has the recipe for my most favourite snack changed? Why wasn't anyone told they were changing the recipe and what the heck was the reason for the change.
