I have a new Mac and need to "set the pc" so that I can scan - printing is not a problem though, just can't scan from the new Mac.
Cannon MG6360 is showing Error 5100 I checked for blockages there are none The machine gives a loud screeching sound and the ink cartridges are jammed on the left when cover is open
printer tells me paper in cassette is wrong size and should be in rear tray. I am printing on plain A4. printer is TS6360 Have been using printer for several months and am familiar with the settings. This particular print job will work from my Android Phone.

My MG6360 has decided to shadow print my documents. i have cleaned, replaced inks, aligned, done everything except kill it. any tips on how to fix this problem please would be greatly appreciated. thanks
I have not experienced that but it sounds like you have made a preference setting in Microsoft WordArt.

Hi, I have MG6360 and receive message … " WRONG HEAD "... replace head Code 1403
I did replace it and … " PRINTHEAD IS NOT INSTALLED"... Code 1401 - Check Ink came on the printer screen.
I did everything by the book and again and again it is showing printhead is not installed !.
What next ?!

My sympathies. There's no point in trying to reason with the Canon Pixma MG6360. It's designed to develop a very serious attitude problem shortly after installation. It would be simpler if it displayed the message "Wrong printer. Destroy immediately," saving everyone a lot of time and money.
Hi, I am trying to print in just black ink and have ticked the box for greyscale in the printing preferences and have saved that but the printer is still printing in colour. is there something else i need to do?
Sorry I can't help except to say that when opening a page to print I would click on the computer screen B&W. I have since thrown my Canon in the bin and purchased a Brother because iMac would no longer recognises Canon MG 3600 series printer.
My Canon MG6360 printer will not photocopy - it keeps telling me that there is no paper in paper compartment, but there is paper.
It will print from the computer, it just won't photocopy. Any ideas?
We are having the same problem although it doesn't tell us that there is no paper in the tray. The only way I've been able to get it to print is to take a screen shot and print that. Good Luck.
The printer will not print. It goes through the motion as if it is printing with the paper coming out with nothing on the paper.
Yes, I have gone through the maintenance, the yellow tabs are off, most of the cartridges are fresh. Why no printing? Any help?
I have had this happen as well. Try removing the power plug from back of printer for 10 seconds then plug back in and restart. Also try rebooting your pc, and possibly removing and reinstalling the printer. This machine has lots of problems.

If you are using Windows just click on the Microsoft Icon or go to your control panel, select devices and printers, find your printer, click on display printer properties, and select grayscale
Where did you get a cd for an MG360 as I lost my and need to reload it.
Don't know, came with it. do your self a favor and get rid of it ASAP and try another brand, before you buy any more ink and waste any more time and money on it. Take it to a canon dealer and toss it on the floor as hard as you can into as many pieces as you can.

i have one i can copy for u but i made the same mistake and bought this heap of rubbish I find this hard to believe that a company like Canon can rip people of buy putting such rubbish =on the market
I have an MG6300 that will not print everything on the page. It seems when I go to print a invoice from our website it does not print the customers name or address or it prints this section very faint. I have tried on both iMacs and still does the same. Help appreciated.
no idea... I mainly use DVD print .. I see it for sale now $50.00.. I paid over $250.00.. there is a complete scam with printers and even bigger scam with ink.... thieving bastards all involved...

should be in you printer's icon lists, scanned documents. just open up the right segment..
Canons usually make a scan folder and it should be in that, Do a search for a scan folder in your computer,

Not sure, I would suggest loading the drivers again, has it done this before, and what is you computeusing. window 8 or 8.1 mine works well on vistar, we had an incompatibility problem with one computer
