Canon Pixma MG3060 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: MG3060 and MG3060WError light flashing, and power light solid green, error code tells me of a paper jam, however after searching for paper jam there is none to be found. When you open ink cartridge door, error light goes out and all correct printing lights come on but power light is flashing but should be solid green. Printer will not print because cartridge door is open.!!!! Has worked perfectly for more than 12 months.
Can the mg3060 be used with cable instead of WiFi?
Yep , i went a bought one and it works fine , although after 15 pages the ink is almost gone .
Can’t connect to wifi canon does not come up as a network option ! I spent 2 hours it’s about to go back to Aldi !
Have you checked YouTube for help on the process? E.g. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zFT4aUNt5c) There are some excellent video tutorials that surpass the poor documentation that Canon provides. A particular 4 part video shows clearing the wifi associations and setting the unit up again. The wifi printing setup is clunky but usable (only has 5 buttons!). Definitely not a printer destined for landfill - don't lose it reuse it. Are you using a Tablet (Android/IOS) or Windows 10 or MacOS or something else?
I wonder whether the canon pixma 3060 has the facitity to add a page to a pdf to make it one document instead of 2? Also I have trouble with saving a scan as there is no save button and I actually cannot click on anything. I save it with going to photofix.
Both your issues look to be software centred and not anything specifically to do with the printer itself. If the Canon software isn't exactly what you need please look into other scanning software options you can download from places like Softpedia. Scanning multiple pages into a single PDF is very much possible.
