Canon Pixma MP250 / 270 Questions & Answers
VerifiedWill mp270 work with iMac M3?
According to info on the web, Canon Pixma MP250/MP270 series is an older printer line, and official support for macOS has not been updated for many years. May be there are ways to work around it but you may need to search internet for the solutions.
Has anyone ever connected an mp270 to a chromebook?
can you print wireless with canon pixma MP270 and if possible please provide process.
Thank yu
I don't think Bluetooth connection is available for that budget printer. At least on my MP270 purchased years ago. Now I have changed to a new Laser printer (only Black & White) which provides wireless connection and much faster. BTW the old MP270 is still operational.
The Canon Pixma MP270 printer is an older model which does not have wireless capability.
are new mp270's available in australia in 2020
I don't know. I think Canon produces similar models at the same price bracket & of different names.
Thanks for your reply, Cass. Cheers, Mike.
This is an older printer which is no longer sold new but there a few secondhand units available on Gumtree. Canon has newer printers in the same price range.
Can you blue tooth photos from your phone and print them straight out on this?
I have a canon Pixma mp 270 printer, purchased 6 years ago with computer. Will this be comparable with any laptop that I buy?
I feel that it should work as long as you get the right driver (for MSWindows: click Printer > Add or something like that. It should search for nearest compatible S/W Driver). My old MP270 is now as old (bought 1999) and working fine with Knoppix Linux (Unix based operating system).
==> Sum up: MP270 should be a Plug & Play with any PC or laptop.
Hi,
Can I use PIXMA 250 to copy colour photo slides on to my computer, and how?
thanks
Hi John, I have tried scanners to copy slides and had very little success. Even with one that says it was designed to do this. They use the reflected light from the scanner lamp which is barely bright enough and the result lacks contrast and resolution. There are better ways to do this. With a slide copier (cheap ones produce usable but not the best results), the old Nikon ones being the best but quite expensive. The easiest way is with a slide copier tube which fits on the camera lens of a DLSR, and this produces the best results I have found, which would even be a higher resolution than the Nikon copiers. Hope that helps. Mike from the UK.
