spirit or port. I nominated my wife to pick up the order as we are rural and she works in a town with a BWS and could pick up the order. I gave her the order confirmation and she dropped in and the manager there went and brought a box up to the counter had her give her her drivers licence which she copied and had my wife sign for the order. My wife brought back the order and i gave it away as a birthday present. about 4 days later or so i receive an email saying the order is on the way? I ignored it. Today i receive an email stating pick up your order as it is ready almost 2 weeks later. My wife received a confirmation message also on her phone and as she was shopping next door in Woolworths decided to see if i had ordered another order. She asked at the counter and the same manger says, i have a police investigation against you, i nearly lost my job because of you, you need to return the box of wine you took!!! I have rung to complain and passed off in all directions, see what happens but NOT HAPPY at all about these accusations to my wife.
Waste of Time – I used the online store picked the items I wanted to buy and then went through to pay and only then do they tell you the items you want to buy are out of stock. Go back to the store and they are still listed as available. Why waste peoples time showing stuff that I can't but because it is sold out.
Found it great – I order wine from outside Australia for a family member in NSW. Have found Cellarmasters to be a fantastic company to deal with. Great selection of wines, great prices and always prompt delivery. I order for birthdays, Christmas and special occasions. I have never been bombarded with emails or calls from them, maybe that's because I live overseas, but I certainly cant knock them. Wonderful company to deal with.

advertising material and phone calls) has been far too heavy. We have more recently been purchasing from both Laithwaites and Australian Wine due to their better targeted wines and offers.
Excellent service and knowledge – I have been buying from cellarmasters for around 2 years. I really enjoy the variety, and trying new wines in the knowledge that should I not enjoy any there is a money back guarantee. I opted out of phone calling so I order when suits me. It can be a hit or a miss – I bought wines from them twice. What annoys me the most is that they dont sell individual bottle of wines, and you must buy 12 bottles of the same wine or wine pre-picked by them. Now onto the wine itself. My first purchase was '2017 bird in hand shiraz' and i hated it. However, i gave Cellarmaster another go and loved the Altero wines they sold.

the day (they like to call when I'm cooking dinner and on Friday nights and without leaving a voicemail. I have answered some of them and there has been nobody on the other line. My smart phone detects the incoming number automatically which is registered at Cellarmasters.
Tech issues with online – Haven't been able to login for sometime. Had wanted to change my email address. Decided to forget about that and register with my new email address. 12..I am also wanting to stop their mailouts, no longer want stuff going to landfill...paper cannot be recycled more than 10 times, plastic bit in the envelope cannot be recycled at all, would love to be able to refill my clean wine bottles..is Brisbane behind the times eco wise. Have to get those manufacturers and retailers doing the right thing.
Slow then missing order, Mixed dozen not very mixed either – First & last purchase from Cellarmasters, ordered Charming dozen’ online to pickup at local BWS, a week later get an email, not text as expected, that my order was ready. the next day so as not to be rude on phone at my event. They call me that night saying they found it and ask me to pick up. Eye roll. I refuse and ask for free delivery as not driving back to store next day, and store eventually agreed. Next day, one hour on phone after being accused of not being home and not living at my address as driver could not understand ‘1/253 Ground floor unit’ is not the same as no 1253 on same road in another suburb. 2nd eye roll. If I had I not been home never would have got the wine and I would have been blamed for sure.
White wine was virtually all Chardonnay, my least favourite, with one bottle of Sauvignon Blanc so not very mixed and tasted pretty crappy. Reds were quite good but again 3 bottle were exactly the same.
Could not recommend at all.
Delivery advice – CM kept me up to date with my order. Acknowledged it, then advised approximate delivery date, then actual date, then message to say it was delivered .
