3 months in shop and cf moto won't answer back – I have a uforce 1000 been at shop 3 and half months. Fuel injector goes out and washes cylinder....they FINALLY approved a rebuild kit which was on back order....they rebuilt it and blew it up again in 10min and cf moto won't answer phones or emails when I try....they now want them to pull motor and recheck everything before sending more parts, to point of hiring attorney over crappy services on both dealer and manufacturers end

NEver again – I bought a CF atv 500 ,2023 in april , I had problem with shifting from reverse to drive after 15 min of driving it. At first no problem changing gear but after removing snow it would be stuck in reverse. Need to shut down the motor then change gear. Went to dealer but no satisfaction could not find the problem. So this ATV is not made to put a snow blade and remove snow. Last time I will buy CF Show details

Joy riding – I just bought the 2018 cf moto 500 two seater and this is got to be the most comfortable 4wheeler I have ever riden and I have rode a ton of different brands. It is geared really low taking off but I'm sure it is to help with the pulling power. Show details

Goes through anything, but.. (cfmoto 500a 2012) – Carburetor had needle changed because it didn't want to start, valves have been adjusted too as well as the spark plug. Doesn't want to run at all even at -5celsius. Really hard to start up and keep it running, today i had been riding for 30 minutes and when i stopped, it died. Had to use the choke to keep it idling. Edit: Pulled it all apart, cleaned the carburator and set the pilot air jet screw to about 2 1/4 turns out, perfect. Show details ·  1

Bought a cfmoto 600 5/20/2021 – Bought a cfmoto 600 5/20/2021. During riding on trails i got stuck in a rutt, gave it gas to get out and noticed i had no control of steering. Jumped off so i would not get hurt, come to find out the steering bracket on left side snaped and the 2 bolts on right side were gone. Cfmoto says it's under review with insurance and upper managment lol.… Read more

The dealer has had it over a month and says it is a safty issue. Thank god i did not get seriously hurt. But some brusing of my right side. Over all it has been great. Just disappointed in how long cfmoto is taking to make a decision on what to do with my claim. If this is how the future looks in dealing with cfmoto i will not buy another one. In the photos you can clearly see the 2 bolts are gone on the right and the bracet broke with 2 bolts still attached on the left. That is the steering bracket.

CF moto is not what you may think – I purchased my 2021 cf moto 600 touring about 1.5 years ago. 1st off riding this machine is like riding your couch ! It is a very comfortable ride, even at the dunes where it can be Incredibly choppy ground! ( that's where I mostly ride) the power is decent, I also have a (one of the top 4 brands) 700 that is a rocket, it's obviously not even a… Read more

comparison, but the cf weighs 3 times as much and is an automatic, (Canadian built transmission btw). I was at my local dues this weekend and, 1st off I swear this is true! I pulled an f-350 with a 15 foot trailer attached to it 20 feet backwards that was stuck in the sand. The guy in the truck and self were blown away, I didn't think for 1 second is was actually going to pull that much weight especially in the sand. The one thing I will say bad about the cf moto is the winch that comes on it. It's very slow pulling and the cable bird caged the 1st time I used it, so I replaced it with an 8,000lb rope (that's what I pulled the guy out with) everyone that rides the CF is very impressed with it. My buddy just bought the CF 800 and it's a beast better suspension, a bit more HP, but also alot more money almost double what I payed for my 600 at the same dealership, all and all I love the brand, and honestly KTM would have never created a joint venture with CF moto if they were a garbage brand. That's what sold me on them. It's a beautiful machine very well made and face it for the money, what you get with there machines you'll pay 3 times as much for a longer established brand.

Great product, Not to happy with the dealership where purchased – I did ablot of research before i purchased the 2016 CF 500. 6 months after purchase the temp ngauge was climbing and the fan wasnt kicking in, Temp relay was bad and factory defect covered under waranty, No biggie, 5 minute flip and fix. that was at 1,500 miles. around 2,300 miles i heard a grinding coming from the rearend, I checked the… Read more

differential fluid, Basically assembly lube, The dealer dropped the bal on setup and never filled it, I took it in because it was metal shaving city, I asked them to check the front differential also, When i picked it up they had it checked off on the work order the rearend was replaced and both front and rear fluids were checked, When i got home i checked, The rear was topped off and the front was again enough to cover the palm of my hand, I filled it and went riding, No issues for abround 9 Months, "WHAM" the rear end locked up and came to an abrumpt hault, ??? When they replaced the rearend i should of checked those also, They biddnt tighten the back mount bolt, It rattled around until it broke out of the mount bracket and allowed the rear end to flip forward, Wasted the $200 drive belt, I replaced that, Loosened the rear end bolts and put it back in place and tightened everything up, Started it up and it ran great, Put it in gear and it died like the clutches were engaged, Checked 3Xs and couldnt find anything wrong, Took it to the dealer i bought it from and a month later they call and tell me the Drive clutch needs to be replaced, $600, Also the drive clutch is shot, $400 and it needs a new belt for $200 and the transmission will probably have to be replaced, They dont know until they go in to it further, I told them im on my way to pick it up, I took it to another shop and a month later i called them and they asked what the problem was? I told them the engine died when it was put in gear like the clutches were engaged, They said, Really?, Because were not having any problems with it at all, I picked it up and pd the shop rate of $58 and drove it plowing snow all winter w/o any issues, There is now 7,648 miles on it, I switched it from 4X4 to 2 wheel drive and about 15 minutes later went to switch it back to 4X4 and nothing, Im pretty sure its the shift engagement modulator at the differential as im not hearing any noise from it when pushing the button, I will check it in the morning, We live by a very long trail system that goes a few hundred miles from Minnesota in to Wisconsin and soon will be connected to North Dakotas trail system, This is why we have so many miles on it, We dont beat the snot out of it and ride it like a street bike, We also picked up a combi motorcycle camper we tow behind it and now can go camping and fishing doing weekend nights on the fly, Love the machine, But the dealers need a tune up.

2018 CFmoto 500s EPS – One week ago I purchased the 500s. I have been working on the break in phases, as the manual instructs. Thus far I am pleased with this machine. I take very good care of my machines, and maintain them, so time is going to be the test. Shifting could be smoother, but not that big of an issue for me. The winch is great, and works well. In fact, I… Read more

September 16th 2018 Update: Follow up review on 500s.

On my second review of the 500s, I now have 100 miles on it and have ridden it thoroughly. Shifting is easier after I spayed the linkage with chain and cable lube. Breaks started squeaking, but I have ridden it in the lake and done some mild mudding in it. Squeaky breaks are common after riding in water, however wd40 fixes squeaky breaks. Have not exceeded throttle past 3/4 yet but have seen 42 on speedometer. Climbs in all terrain well. Do not like the plastic under carriage armor, and will check to see what Honda and Yamaha use. As of now I really like this machine.

January 5th 2019 Update: Follow up review on 500s.

I bought the 2018 CFMoto 500s EPS, and now, a few months later and close to 500 miles I must say I'm pleased with it. I ride it hard, and often, but I also maintain it. Not 500 miles yet, but I've fully lubed the chassy (via a full chassy break down), and ALL fluids have been changed. It's been dependable, and I go places where only bigger machines go. Been a great 4 wheeler. Regular maintenance is criticle if you ride like I do. Time is the only real test, but so far CF MOTO has impressed me. I took a chance and I do not regret it now! Bring it on!

Looking for advice Cf moto 550, transmission noise – Have owned this just over two years and been happy with it. Today has developed a loud rattle in the transmission and wants to creep forward at idle revs. Suspect primary clutch may be the issue. Local dealer has a wait list for repair of some three weeks. Really need it repaired sooner.

CFMOTO Junk – I have a 2017 CFMOTO ZForce 800 EX that had the motor rebuilt at 400 miles under warranty. After 200 additional miles the machine is locked up. Dealer and CFMoto tell me I am out of luck and out of 12k on this piece of junk. I would avoid CFMoto at all costs.

Cf Moto 500 2020 – Bought it and had it a week before it started acting like it wanted to shut off, couple weeks later boot came off just from riding, exhaust cover came off from running to hot. meanwhile I live on a dirt road do not go mudding but it’s a ATV suppose to be able to drive through dirt I thought..... cfmoto refused to cover it under warranty said there’s no way that mud should get in there??? But it’s open underneath. Have to pay 230 to get it fixed. In my opinion it’s cheaply made and a lemon! It’s not even worth the cost. Wish I had never purchased! Still in shop 3 more weeks.

Best atv I have owned or ridden – Best atv I have owned or ridden. Use to own a very popular brand from Minnesota and this is 10 times the atv it was. I would buy another cfmoto tomorrow if I needed one. Only issue I have found is that from factory they did not have shift linkage adjustment set correctly which made it difficult to shift into low gear. Once readjusted no more issues. I would rate it 5 out of 5. Show details

Good value for the price – 2021 520eps done 100km so far seems good, power steering is light and responsive, gearshift ok as long as you dont switch off in gear leave it in park or neutral and push hard on footbrake to put in gear.Has plenty of power for trails and farm work just make sure to use low range when going slowly like when picking your way through thick bush, only problem is the wife wants her own one now. Show details

Can't beat the value! – I live in Ontario, Canada, and I recently purchased a pre-owned 2014 CF Moto Trail Tracker 500. Hard Shifting – From day one I have had issues shifting when the ATV is on an incline or decline. days and they said there was nothing wrong. Was going to sell the ATV due to the issue. Could not let the wife or kids go off on their own because they would not be able to shift it when it jams up. After years of not using the bike and just frustration I understand from another local dealer that there is a fix to the shifting issue. Something about just removing a shift pin. You would think that CF Moto company would have notified all buyers of the 500 HO EPS that there is a fix but no word at all from them. That's my story. Not happy since now there was an overheating issue and the ATV melted the wiring.

Great QUAD with heaps of quality – I have carefully researched all the Quads in my price range and after carefully review the CF MOTO x500 shone out. modulated because it works good at idle but is dangerously too sensitive at higher speeds - not a rig for inexperienced riders. The shifter is pencil thin and feels like you will break it when changing gears - that is if you can change gears !! Biggest complaint is that if you are at ANY incline it is impossible to change the selector, you have to rock the machine and makes HORRIBLE noises once it shifts - could not be operated by wife's or young adults. Can definitely see being stranded with this machine. As long as I am complaining about the transmission this brings up another point am having trouble understanding, has a Park, but says in the manual that damage to transmission will occur if you transport in this position - give me a break !!
