a year of hunting until I found this one, large enough for how I make my real crepes. I wanted to 100% avoid any non-stick coatings and chemicals. Ive worn out all my non-sticks and am finally over it! yes, it's very solid and very evenly dispersing of heat, and with the included long French style spatula you get a very authentic experience (for crepes and galettes bretonnes). This is truly one of those " Buy one for A Lifetime" kind of products (rather than a toxic disposable rubbish which abounds ) which makes it worth the investment. yes its non-stick once seasoned. You dont need to pick it up to flip a creep (its too heavy - so adjust your technique and use the included spatula (they include the full size long French Rozelll - wooden spatula - which I didnt realise,. bonus! P.s. its has a certain delicacy due tot he finish -dont smash it and it wont smash.
