Cast Iron French Stock Pot – We liked the blue colour of Le Creuset cookware but could not justify the Australian prices, which never seemed to be discounted. Having looked at the much cheaper Chinese made copies of the cast iron pots we were unhappy with the quality and read many dissatisfied reviews. We then came across this Chasseur Brand, French made and available on the Peters of Kensington website. Less than half the price of Le Creuset. Excellent quality, more than 6 months use and still looks like new. Heavy and delivered with a free "dolls house" size copy for the 100th Chasseur anniversary.
Purchased in at Peter's of Kensington for $249.

Leaking from rivet handle – Last weekend I brought this cookware covered stock pot24cm/7.6L+ covered saucepan 16cm/ 1.9 L and it had already started leaking both from the rivet handle when I used it the first time. I reported the company but they told me I can’t claim warranty because my-receipt was dumped in bin ! I spend total 248 $ for this bad quality cookware!!!! Today 30/6/2022 after continuous email complaints to the Company CHASSEUR,they’ll send to me the new pot and saucepan! Hopefully we can trust this email from the company Chasseur cookware !!???
Purchased in at Victoria's Basement.
