actually took the cameras to the extremes of our property and plugged them in even further away and found that they still worked. I have put the cameras on their own power sources with UPS which was quite a lot of extra cost and work. I have purchased a TP-Lin Wifi range extender (TL-WA855RE) but very confused now as to how to get that to work in conjunction. Things I have found is that the NVR needs to be cabled into your router/modem. After I did this, all the features worked nicely to (1) allow mobile access to images which was great (2) self-updated the NVR software.

Dropping out too much – I find this system drops out every couple minutes when too hot or too cold, when it works it’s not too bad but find the drop out can be very couple minutes or can be for a long time,I would think for the price I paid we wouldn’t have this problem,we also run a cable setup of different brand no problem .We where thinking that being a cable free… Read more

system we have more choices where we can use it should of just got another cable system then we have piece of mind for 24 hours not 6 to 18 hours , the Cameras are approximately 10 meters to 45 meters understand the 45 meter might drop sometimes but not the ones within 10 meters.
