Newly bought. Disappointed that when reading the instructions it says not to put in water. 'Just put detergent on a cloth and wipe out. ' On inspection, if it goes in water you will get the element wet as it's now a screw on element unsealed instead of a molded into the base one. I knew not to get the temp control area wet on previous Electric frypans but this is really cheap. I guess for $32 if I get 6 months I'll be lucky. They also call it a wok because it's round but it's not really the correct base shape for stir-fry cooking but I really wanted a frypan so that suits me fine. I was wanting something smaller than the big banquet style Electric frypans. I guess all you can do to clean it is put water, detergent in the pan and turn it on.

Would not work as a wok as it doesn't get hot enough. Wok cooking is hot and fast.
