I never thought I'd say this, but since purchasing my shallow casserole Crumble I actually look forward to cooking dinner every night! Beautiful touch on a classic – Bought this beauty as part of a Black Friday haul. The classic Dutch was going to be a little large for 1 person, so opted for the shallow version and I have zero regrets! I am yet to cook with the set, but the quality of these looks so good! Colour is more of a dusty purple than vibrant, like the ceramics but that just makes them look a little vintage & like I’ve had them for ages. Cannot wait to start whipping up a storm in this!! Arrived chipped and covered in stickers that were a struggle to remove – Arrived with a chipped handle - really can’t face the prospect of trying to return it - it’s big, heavy and awkward. Also, the website was covered in Father’s Day offers - so I ordered, selecting standard shipping. it did finally arrive, it was covered in those dreadful stickers that won’t damn well come off! Took hours of soaking to remove them before I could use it.

not realise how often I would use it when I purchased it - it is beautiful AND versatile.
The pan is on the heavier side, as cast iron is, but it is not too heavy that you cannot lift it. The handles don’t get hot when used on the stovetop but oven mitts are required when transporting from the oven.
Crumble also have the cutest little mitts that are so easy to use - I have the pink bows and adore them.
It is so easy to clean and still looks as good as the day I bought it!
Follow-up · While this is still a much loved pan, I have unfortunately burnt the bottom using it on an induction cooktop. I believe it’s just aesthetic but it does make me a little sad when I use it now. It is a bigger sized pan with handles and quite a tall lid so storing it all together does take some space. Freaking Fantastic – I purchased the shallow Dutch oven in yellow. It's a beautiful addition to my kitchen, both aesthetically and for its ability to turn my basic cooking into delicious delights. So happy that I bit the bullet. Read lots of the reviews on Crumble and independent review websites and they were overwhelmingly positive. Now I'm adding mine. Worth the money.
