you get one of their factory shipped duds. For a $500 swag to not have zips on all openings is poor value for money. This was not my first choice of swag. It was something I settled on because I needed something that day and now regret purchasing. It had known design issues that make it a poor performer compared to other high priced swags.

The foot end windows have no zips and flaps are secured with only two tabs of velcro. There is no storm flap protecting these openings so it's easy for rain to get in. There are also no eyelets on these large flaps which would enable you to at least peg then out for better weather control. Poor design and a swag that definitely needs a rain fly to be weather sealed

You cannot open the awnings from inside the swag or lower them. So if it starts raining you have to get out into the wet to do this. Poor design.

I would not ever expect to modify a $500 swag to make it suitable for all weather. But this one either needs mods or to set up under a large tarp. In which case why bother with the swag at all. ? Easier to just make a tarp tent.

I could live with these shortcomings of Ihad only paid $300 for it. But at top RRP in the swag market it's a terrible excuse for a premium swag.

I now own a $500 dog swag as I now need to go and mail-order a better one. Datche is stocked by many stores and constantly pushed but their products are a very standard product at premium prices, clever marketing but quality control is not threre, this may have been a top swag years ago but it's a terrible design these days.

Do research buy better. 23zero is better.

bed. true. so glad to get out of the camper trailer and back on a swag its easier for travel and setup and so comfy. either of the above are great buys but the darche 75mm mattress makes the difference for me.
