This online communication platform solved my fear of fake profiles. The verification process, while needing a refresh every six months, does make the community feel more trustworthy. There are many ways to interact, from chats to virtual gifts, which can be fun but also a bit overwhelming to navigate at first. Overall, it’s a good space for building virtual relationships at your own pace. Show details

It's a solid site for finding people to talk to online, seriously. The 'Let's Mingle' feature is a cool way to break the ice. But you have to pay to talk, which is fine, I guess, for a premium service... it just feels a touch expensive, to be honest. Also, the whole credit system with all the buttons can be confusing at first. They could explain it better. Show details

My friend subscribed to DateMyAge for 15 months as a premium member, relying on their published Policy C.5, which clearly states: “Free members must have video calls with other members on your contact list at least twice per month.” The… Read more

free/featured member she engaged with refused every video call for months.(His profile: SITE ID 39111248642, a person called HAITAO). When she complained, customer success manager ([Name Removed]) kept shifting explanations.

1) first calling video calls mandatory, 2) then voluntary, 3) then a recommendation, 4) and finally only “if comfortable.” And in addition he said, while Policy C.5 encourages members to have video calls at least twice per month, it cannot be enforced as a mandatory requirement for all users. The policy is meant to encourage engagement, not guarantee it. A member’s refusal to participate in video calls is a choice they are entitled to make under the platform’s rules.

None of these terms appear in their website, policies, or terms. This is post-facto distortion and misrepresentation. This repeated change in explanation is not clarification — it is distortion after the fact, which amounts to misrepresentation.

*** Attached email screenshot and their communication policy for free users***

Without video calls, she could never verify if the person was genuine, which undermines their own Scam & Reimbursement Policy. Instead of protecting paying members, the platform shields featured/free members (many without video enabled, especially from China) and profits from endless one-sided chats. She lost significant time, money, and effort, while the safeguards advertised were never enforced.

⚠️ Warning: Premium members are left without any real protection. The published safeguards are misleading, and customer care’s shifting explanations prove it.

Follow-up  · What other safeguards exist? No sure, but check the below link: https://solnetworkinc.my.site.com/datemyage/s/article/Can-I-use-the-site-for-free-DMA?utm_source=chatgpt.com What's the reimbursement process? The criteria for refund are very narrow and there is no guarantee. What is unclear / missing: 1) Exactly when a refund is triggered. 2) The… Read more

Scam website – They take your details and email a login link which then returns you to the webpage where you are asked to log in which again results in a repeat email with another log in link. So you go around in circles. So you never access the site profiles. At the end of the day they capture your details (age, date of birth, gender, email and phone number) which presumably they sell on. In my opinion this appears to be a scam.

Date my scammer – A scam site with fake profiles, yes every profile is fake, don't even think about joining, this is just another scam site like the rest of the dating sites that takes your money.
