Dell Venue 11 Pro

small powerhouse – I got this as it was priced much lower than the surface pro and it had more bells n whistles; a removable battery and a backup keyboard battery to make it the perfect travelling companion. The specs are impressive, with an intel Core i5, Windows 10 Pro, 8GB Ram, 256GB HDD. Powerful enough to replace my cumbersome HP Elitebook which also served as a desktop.
That’s right, Finally after all these years I can use one machine to replace the trusty desktop, hardy laptop and nimble tablet. I am estatic!
On the flipside, I now have several peripherals that add up to a bit too much. The pen feels out of place, the travel keyboard is light but pretty much useless, it does double as a cover and screen protector though. The hard battery keyboard although sturdy lacks any connectivity so you must spend on a dock as the tablet itself has minimum connections. The dock supports dual monitor display and all other peripherals connect seamlessly so you can truly port the tablet with ease.
Being old school with a different computer for a different purpose I was glad to declutter home and work. This computer/tablet and the cloud are my 2 best friends.
Now I hope this setup will stand the test of time.
