This is a follow up to my last review a few yrs ago. I still use these products but will swap to others. I currently use the: "Very Dry Skin Wash"; or the "Sensitive Skin Wash" as well as "Very Dry Skin Cream" on my legs and body. and "Scalp Relief Shampoo & Conditioner" (See my other reviews for that particular products review) Pros: -… Read more
Bodywashes and shampoo, lathers nicely and leaves skin and hair feeling clean without being stripped. Shampoo can be a tad drying for us curly girls though. - Smell is basic and non intrusive on all products. No colours or overpowering perfumes.
Cons: - Only available at chemists.
- All their products are over priced.
- I'm not sure if they've changed their formula's or not but both body washes dry my skin out terribly now. Esp in sensitive areas eg private parts. Even when used in extremely small amounts. My legs are getting white and scaley as a result of using these washes- cool showers are had too so I know it's not the hot water drying it out. Nor has anything changed in my diet or living arrangements etc.
- The Moisturiser aka "Very Dry Skin Cream" leaves an oily slimy feeling anywhere it's put, even in the smallest amounts. It doesn't soak into the skin and stays there for 12+hours until it's washed off. It also takes a lot to wash it off.
- Results of using the "Very Dry Skin Cream" are negligible even after 2 weeks of daily use. Which is really saying something considering theyir packaging boasts the claim of "Visible results in 1 day". I've gone back to using Cetaphil moisturiser on my body because at least that soaks in rapidly and gives actual results overnight. I'm also unimpressed of the use of Silicones in the mix. These are a not skin friendly to those with sensitive skin or acne etc.
Honestly, I highly doubt I will ever bother with this companies products again. They used to be fantastic but something has changed for the worse. I don't recommend anyone try this stuff. Its not worth it. They don't work and cause a host of other issues if you do have sensitive skin.
Dermal Therapy - Do Not Use – Dermal natural deodorant burned my skin so much. I bought the Sweat Control Spray by Dermal. Tested it on my husband and he felt the same. Definitely do not recommend this brand! Show details

Dermal Crystal Deodorant – As a woman of a certain age, with multiple skin and food sensitivities, I have used Dermal Crystal deodorant for as long as it has been available, as a deodorant. Several years ago, I was encouraged by my sister to use it as a mosquito bite treatment. Previously a mozzie bite would produce a welt 3 cm in diameter, which would remain red and itchy… Read more · 1
for ~ 10 days. Now, the moment I get bitten, I moisten the Dermal Crystal deodorant stick and apply it to the bite. No more red itchy welts! Recently I was required to use a daily injectable medication for my bones- as a result of the medication, I developed significant pustular acne on my forehead, across my nose and cheeks and chin. As a woman of a certain age, it was disgusting. I needed to persevere with the medication, and I knew my GP would put me on antibiotics. One morning in desperation I decided to use my Dermal Crystal Deodorant on affected areas on my face: to my utter astonishment and delight, within 24 hours I saw a reduction in the severity of the pustules and redness, the improvement continued, with no new pustules forming. Eventually other, more significant side effects to the medication led to me ceasing it’s use, at which time, continued use of Dermal Crystal Deodorant cleared my skin completely. However I continue to apply Dermal Crystal Deodorant to my face if I develop itchy lumps due to food sensitivities.. I have advised my grand daughters to use Dermal Crystal Deodorant if they develop zits. I wish it had been available when my middle son was a teenager, it would have been a much safer option than the medication he required, which had significant possible side effects, including self harm. I have also pondered whether Dermal Crystal Deodorant might be useful in combating Rosacea.
using for perimenopausal acne and rosacea – i have peri-menopausal acne and rosacea. it makes it very hard to find products that work for both issues. acne products help the acne but flare up the rosacea, rosacea products flare up the acne. i have settled on using clearasil rapid action face wash and then using the dermal cream afterwards. i do this twice a day and i have noticed huge… Read more · 2
improvements for both issues. my skin is not perfect but it is way better. i online researched for ages and found nothing that matched my issues so had to just trial and error a lot of products. it may not work for everyone but if even one other person sees this review and it works for them, i'll be happy.
Rapt!! – I “discovered” Dermal Therapy approx 1 year ago as was looking to replace a product I had used for ever! Was really pleased when first started using it but as the weeks went on I notice dry patches of skin were lifting off my legs! Absolutely rapt as obviously Dermal was really excelling by not just moisturising on the surface! I always have… Read more · 1
extra bottle on hand and always turn old bottle upside down then cut it open as still plenty of product left! Can say in all honesty I would never use anything else and friends I’ve recommended it to are just as happy! PS Supporting an Aussie company is another reason to buy Dermal!
Love this brand! – I’ve used different products in this brand over the years and always found them to be high quality. More importantly though, they do what they say they are going to do. They are affordable and kind on my skin, and I find I don’t have to use very much to get good coverage. I’m excited about what products I will see in the future! Show details · 1

MIRACLE – I kept getting these red rashes behind my knees, inner thighs and down stairs and couldn’t work out what was causing the rashes to suddenly appear overnight and would last weeks to months sometimes and I would have to apply a cortisone ointment every night. Apart from side effects of the cortisone which I put up with for years the rash was… Read more · 1
diagnosed as severe chafing rashes. I ended up recently buying a tube of Dermal Therapy Chafing & Sweat Rash cream and my goodness soo soothing to the skin and after a couple of days use my rashes were starting to clear up. OMG RELIEF finally something I could use that wasn’t cortisone and nor did I have any side effects. I couldn’t believe the amazing and remarkably recovery in such a short time and felt soo confident in myself again wow. This cream is a Miracle worker. Now it keeps my skin smooth dry and rash free. Thank you Dermal Therapy for a life changing experience.
Great lotion for the whole family – If you’re familiar with my reviews, you will know that I’m quite a fan of dermal therapy products and this was yet another product I was lucky to receive from the Best In Beauty event in Sept 2024. The lotion is light without making your skin feel greasy and absorbs quickly. There are no fragrances making it perfect for sensitive skin – I… Read more · 1
personally don’t have sensitive skin myself however when it comes to my daughters I am cautious with what they use on their skin & try opt for products which are free from parabens & sulphates which this is.
Even thought it is light it gives great hydration & keeps my skin moisturised and nourished.
*This product was received for free as a trial product for my true & honest opinion whether positive or negative.
It really works – I was recommended the Dermal Very Dry Skin cream and I'm so glad I was. I've noticed a real difference in the appearance of my skin. It is definitely not as dry and appears less "old". Show details · 1

range has definitely worked in comparison to other Sensitive Skin Care Products, I have used on my skin. To think, when I was young, I complained about having Oily Skin - now as I am Ageing my skin is the opposite. Thank goodness Dermal Works on my old skin! I was surprised the Price is very reasonable too. Dermal is a fully owned Australian Company - I give Dermal 100-100 because it actually Works!!’ Woman in Chemist Warehouse told me she uses some of Dermal Products too, they are all great for her skin, she said their Hand Cream is brilliant….
I wanted it to work so bad, but it hurts – I have excessive sweat due to medication side effects. And have been looking for something to help with it. I tried this and my underarms were on fire for hours. I washed it off straight away and needed to put gel on it to cool down. I've tried on my face as it states, hands and other parts of my body and it is just as bad. I love all your other products! But this is v bad.

Do yourself a favour and buy this – I tried out the lipbalm because of a tiktok I saw, I only heard about it before because someone said the lotion is good for people who fake tan and I kinda just skipped past it. But I was amazed by how good the lip balm was so I went and got the lotion aswell and it’s an absolute game changer. Made my tan last two weeks and somehow made… Read more · 1
exfoliating my old tan off so much easier, I think it’s bevause usually when i exfoliate I’m taking off a layer of skin aswell and it’s just a long annoying lengthy process. But with this moisturiser I literally apply it once a week after I tan and the tan lasts weeks. So good i just don’t like the smell but the worst smelling the better the product is in my opinion lol

Love it! – I use the soap free wash and the sensitive skin wash and have for about a decade now. Its the only bodywash that gets my skin clean without overstripping the essential oils and skin barrier. Things I like. - Smells nice or nurtral with no smell at all! - Doesn't over strip - Lathers nicely in hand, washer or shower loofah etc - Washes off… Read more · 1
quickly and easily with 0 residue - Great for dry skin. Stops that itching and stinging feeling. - Great for sensitive areas with 0 stinging. Including on private parts and freshly shaved legs - The price isn't too bad for the big tubs. - I like that its easily sourced at most pharmacies.
Things that could be better: - I'd love to see some with essential oils in them and or a smidge of colour... As it ages in the bathroom, it tends to look a bit like...a specific bodily fluid...if you get my drift LOL. The newer ones seem a bit pearly though too which helps lol.

Our everyday lotion, did not switch for any other brand – Since me and my husband were given samples of the Very Dry Skin Lotion, we loved it and since then we always buy it and use it regularly after a shower and it never fails! It’s not sticky and no scent is the best! Our skin is well protected throughout the day without it even drying! Amazing and highly recommended! Show details · 1

My life is so much better now that my excessively dry skin is no longer a problem – I had tried so many different creams to get rid of my really dry skin with zero luck, some of them even caused the skin to breakdown in areas. Then I found the dermal range. Within 24 hours my skin looked healthy, the itchy areas had ceased. I had adverse reaction to any of the products. This range of products were life changing for me.
