Can be noisy, no light, bendy shelf, poor energy efficiency but does keep my beer cold and it looks nice enough – Update nearly 1 year on. ================ So most of the issues still stand. However, the noise issues resolved themselves after about 3 months. I still stand by my other issues but the noise was a big problem for me. I have have re-rated this from 2*Bad to 3*Ok as it is now useable as intended. ******************************** Original Review ========== I was given this for my office as a Christmas present. It is not great. Reviews on other sites say that it doesn't get particularly cold but there is a thermostat dial at the back that fixes this problem. (By default it is set to minimum cool). Issues: - The energy efficiency is rated at 1 star out of 5 and it draws 237KWh per year according to the sticker. To put it in perspective that is the same as my full size fridge freezer! I assume that is on its minimum default setting!!! - The capacity is poor. Most of base of the interior is taken up with a solid shelf that doesn't make it easy to insert drinks. - The wire shelf is not strong enough to hold more than a few bottles/cans in the middle and collapsed when I 12 bottles of beer spread out across it. - It does not have a light. - It is pretty noisy for a small office. - It may not use environmentally unfriendly refrigerant but the threats of explosion from the "Highly flammable" refrigerant are concerning. - There seem to be a wide verity of prices with getting it from the Devanti directly being the most expensive option!
