Only thing worse is their customer service – Bought the device and it was slow from the start.. never really tried to use the Android part but when I did I couldn't install any apps from Kudroid which is their app store. Kudroid website seems faulty so I asked DGTEC Support and this was their response. DGTEC Dear Customer, The only place where you can download apps is from the Kodroid site if the site not available then you cannot download using any other sites

Thanks

I will never buy DGTEC equipment again and will actively tell people not to buy their products because there is no support.

Slow, Unable to install apps, would not recognize some video formats, no support from DGTEC

Fake android device – I purchased this device last week, it's really very bad. sound quality is poor and display resolution is not compatible with old TVs. No android market. youtube is not working at all, the subtitles can not be read. You can not install applications from android market. Some functions of the remote controller are not working You can surf the internet on your TV display and also you can use it to play media file on flash drive Not as advertised

Great media player – Bought to convert tv to smart tv apps , pvr and media player found adsl2 wifi (fastest internet before cable)struggled with speed . advised to download patch from dgtec site , tried winzip / winrar still couldn't get patch to work so still waiting for smart tv . pvr looks good if formatted to fat32 media player , awesome , plays all ntfs format (tried hdd 160g - 1tb)

all codecs avi ,mpeg , even 3gp . (won't play xfat format)

this will be a great machine if they can sort out software upgrade for internet (android)

$80 purchase gives me patience Inexpensive for trial to upgrade tv Struggle with android
