Excellent – Had this SD reciever for 2 years. Never been a problem. For an SD box the picture quality is quite good. Reliable Easy to Install Nice picture Quality

Terrible – Well i only paid 200$ for it on a clive anthonys opening day special so i thought it was a bargin had it for 6 weeks and not a problem untill now. couldnt get a picture only sound,switchd the system off and on a few times and now get a picture but i cant change channels or anything else only off and on after reading what other people wrote i think i will get something else has lots of connectors on the back that are useful, picture quality is good (with lack of comparison to other units) doesnt work properly now

control is a little plasticy and cheap looking and the battery cover doesnt stay on very well

OK – It seems to work pretty well. The automatic channel setup upon doing a search is good. I like the Favourites option (it means I get less calls from the in-laws). My parents-in-law own this STB and it gets them a good picture in Torquay where analogue reception is totally rubbish. There is no display on the front to indicate what channel you're on. Plus my in-laws are always on the phone to me to try to correct some silly errors they introduce.

Terrible – I purchased this unit from JB, and it had all the features you would expect from a basic set top box. Within 2 hours the audio jack failed on the TV line. I returned the unit to JB and they swapped it no problem, but that is what you expect from their customer service. No complaints there. The second unit lasted about the same time before failing on the TV line again. The video outputs continued to function fine. 1 week later the on screen display failed. The unit still receieves but there is no way to view the information screens. I'm returning it to JB and will migrate to something else. Don't waste your time or money on this. It is obviously a flawed product rushed to market. Look elsewhere. It is inexpensive and fairly unobtrusive Universal remote isn't
