buyers beware total fraud over 5000 dollars charged for 6 dietician zoom 30minute calls
Beware pushy sales tactics – Beware of this company - not a positive experience at all due to the pushy, scare tactic sales pitch. I booked a ‘no obligation’ discovery Zoom call with the impression it would be about diabetes education and some information about the supposed 5 key factors and program offered. The call with the female consultant started off fairly ok, I was… Read more
asked questions about medical history, ways I’d tried to lose weight in the past and also what was motivating me. After she asked me the same questions over and over and repeating my answers back to me (which in itself was strange) the female consultant then started talking about the program that is offered and what’s involved and what you get in the program. Even though she talked for quite some time about the program, the information was still quite vague. Then she asked me if there was anything else at all that I would like to know about the program and I said yes I’d like to know the price involved because that absolutely had not been mentioned at all up until that point. After beating around the bush for a few more minutes she finally informed me that she recommended I sign up for the “premium plus package” because I needed all the help and that just for a deposit of $5100 today plus $61 per week I could sign up for that package and that I needed it. I was taken aback by the cost and said that was simply not a realistic option for me to pay such an amount today and could I consider other options or get the information emailed to me to look over and make a decision. As soon as I said this she became very snappy in how she spoke to me and began trying to basically guilt me into saying yes. It was a really uncomfortable, horrible experience pretty much being shamed by a pushy sales consultant who even went to the extent of telling me that prioritising other financial commitments over signing up for this package today was pointless if I wasn’t going to be healthy / die young. That really turned me off then and I had enough of the call. Don’t waste your time. Consider other options to get the same help elsewhere.
Pushy, don't care – I explained that I could only do texts and not talk 1 on 1. Because of short-term memory loss. I was ignored. They preceded to schedule 1 0n 1. They obviously don't care about me. So, I closed it down. I'm glad I've read the reviews. $3,500 up front or just paying in instalments is out of my reach.
Check on line first – I made an enquiry on Facebook, watched the video and it was really nothing different to what my GP was promoting, through my private health cover I have contacted a dietician and booked in appointments. As male over 55 the government also offers a number of programs that are free to access. reflecting on the lead up to the appointment I thought i… Read more
should do a [Content Removed] check or review check and when you have a ration of 60/40 not in favour that was enough for me to cancel the 1 on 1 engagement. I will continue the journey I have started; my focus is on stress reduction and the free supporting literature I got from the dietician is helpful, my blood work tests all covered by Medicare equally will show the improvement, happy to invest in my health but all the text messages and emails leading up to the call put me off and the feeling was one of simply - too pushy for me

Trying Medicare route first! – Decided to check reviews after my appointment & can see its roughly 50/50 love vs hate. First thing I felt was the hard core sales approach before the actual obligation free consult! Put me off so much I communicated straight awzy im not signing up. My quote was way more than mentioned here , over 3k for 6 months & over 5k for 12 months. I do… Read more
think the program sounds great and could work.how ever after that I had a call after researching the Australian Diabetes government centre and I can get pretty much the same program with them for free. I'll be trying that first, IMO if you have determination and throw your self into something it will work, weather it costs a lot, or its covered on Medicare. I'm trying the Medicare route first, I pay enough tax so feel I am good to try. One can always circle back if it doesn't work. Not every one has 3k or 5k to invest so do your home work if funds are tight. All the best.

Lots of emotional Manipulation and they try to guilt you into paying – Had discovery phone call, one thing i did notice is they kept repeating questions and asking the same thing over and over again to the point where I had to state ":My Previous answer has not changed" everything went well and I was ready to sign up, then at the end of the call they ask for $3500 dollars right then and there "we can finalize this… Read more
with a credit card right now or put you on our version of after pay" when I stated let me have 24 hours to think about it, they started to try and guilt trip me into paying (thats one pack of cigarettes a week for you , you can afford it) saying you don't want to improve your health, you have wasted our time, our slots are limited (typical MLM tacti) think about an early death, then attempted to use answers I had given them ([Name Removed]) to try and manipulate me into paying then and there, ended up hanging up on the, do not contact or sign up to these people, they also go by another business name (https://www.miyagi.coach/about/)
do not engage these people, go to your doctor and do it properly (I did cost me $0 and from what I have read, about this company they just cut and paste crap from the WWW) and run under many different names “miyagi” is one of them, these people are worse than the old ADT door knockers or Amway STEER CLEAR

Buyer be aware do your research before you say yes to this service – All I can say is this is a very overrated overpriced programme make sure you do your homework before you sign up I regret this decision so very much their is much cheaper better cheaper more supportive programmes out their. overload, i was very disappointed in my dietician calls as for if I was unable to make the call for that week I wasn’t able to rebook that week but the money was in their bank so no skin of their nose if it wasn’t rebooked in the last 6 weeks of my programme my dietician never once touch base to follow me up to see how I was going where is the customer service I voted 0/5 that, the program costs are crazy the app never really worked properly so what are you paying for just $$$ and very little for your return. They say good business comes from word of mouth. I have nothing good to say about this program and I certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone. I’m very disheartened and disappointed with the lack of support and commitment on their behave. And the lack of follow up

Made the error in signing up – BUYER BEWARE. They have no cancellation policy (though the sales person on the phone fails to tell you that) and I told them not even 48hours later that I could not continue I had not used a single thing and continue to do so after 2 weeks of back and forth and a lot of tears on my end. They came down to $2500.00 for 12wks and paid off over… Read more
12months even after I said they would be taking food off my families table as we are a low income household.
I feel sick about the amount of money that I am going to be paying for a product that I am not going to use.
shame on Diabetes Wellness Australia taking advantage of people who want help.

after struggling with type 2, this saved me – I had tried loads of different things to manage my type 2 without success. The Diabetes Wellness program gave me the education, guidance and support to implement the most simple habit changes that have had the biggest impact on my health. Can't thank them enough. Show reply
Big FAT ZERO! – These people take personal details and then use them to emotionally blackmail you into signing up! Not impressed with Marshall D. Aggressive and pushy sales. Don't waste your time!

Don't fall for this! – They wanted $2,597 upfront from me or $55 a WEEK for a whole year. I was told I'd save $800 or so if I paid the full amount. I explained that as it was a large amount, I'd like the opportunity to discuss it with my husband first. The caller, Marshall referred back to some previous comments I'd made about having a supportive husband and how I make… Read more
decisions for myself. Marshall then proceeded to state "oh so you don't want to live longer, reach your goals and be healthy then?" That statement was a massive red flag to me along with some I'd previously ignored. This statement actually made me SEE red and I told him I didn't appreciate being fat/body shamed into signing up for something I knew nothing about, without first discussing it with my husband. Marshall was extremely rude, in a manipulative , condescending way, attempting to make me feel like I wasn't in control of my own life or able to make decisions for myself and tried to guilt shame me by listing some of the things I'd previously said about my health. I too thought this was a trial, it's not. It's appointment sales, targeting already vulnerable women/men into parting with huge amounts of cash without having the chance to view or test drive the product first. There are plenty of other products out there at a fraction of the cost that, when followed correctly work and give great results. Don't fall for this!!!!!

Enquire at own risk!!! – I should have known from the pushiness in Facebook Messenger how this was going to progress. I thought I was signing up for a trial product. Boy was I wrong. The phonecall happened at the booked time, and we went through an overview of my health. In the earlier stages, there were plenty of reminders of how precious the time of the sales… Read more
team was. No consideration or regard for the time of the person enquiring after the product. I very much got the feeling that if they so much as got a sniff that the call may end without a payment in their favour, they would push you about that. Unfortunately for them today, they wasted an HOUR on me. I was honest and open in my answers throughout the process, then when I chose (as is my right!) not to sign up, the seller became manipulative, quoting things I had stated during the call to manipulate me into a sale. Language used at times was wrong - it felt like they were putting their own spin on something that simply was wrong, then when corrected, deliberately continued to disregard the correction. There isn't always some deep answer to a question. It doesn't constitute an unwillingness to explore something. I was very relieved when my attention was legitimately required elsewhere, terminating the call on the seller. I never sign up for anything on the spot. If it's legitimate and reputable, there will be some way for me to contact the business at a later date to sign up. This "business" doesn't appear to offer this.
Overall, an hour I can't get back, but my faith in my radar is confirmed. Red flags existed from the get go. I chose to ignore them. But the hard sell was there, and it felt it went so far as to manipulate you into parting with cash.

Treat with caution – Has lots of five star Trustpilot reviews on its own website but doesn’t appear on Trustpilot when I searched for it. to follow a set script with key words and was heading towards selling food replacement shakes by the sound of it but couched as individually customised diets without changing lifestyle or current food selections.
When I showed reluctance to pay, they immediately dropped the cost by $20+ per week but played the ‘we have a waiting list and you must buy now or never have the chance’ card.
Very light on detail and there’s much more transparent support services out there.
