Is the 4wd red 3d mat more comfortable than the 4wd grey mat? Thanks!

Which valves are which in terms of inflation and deflation? I know two are for in and two are for out but I can never work out which is which!

the valve system is a bit silly. There are two out/inlets, each of which have a bottom screw-in section and a top screw-in section. if you undo the top screw section but leave the bottom screwed in, it makes a one-way inlet valve, air can get in (under pressure), but not out (you can examine how this valve works when unscrew the bottom screw section, it is simply a flap of rubber at the back of that bottom piece that only allows one way flow). when you unscrew and take out the bottom screw-in section, there are no valves, and air flows freely both ways. my advice is: take out the bottom screw section entirely to allow the memory foam to inflate by itself and again when you deflate and roll it up. only use the top screw-in section when (if) you want to increase pressure in the mat with a pump. don't blow into the mat because you get moisture inside and it will get mouldy over time. Why the makers don't include instruction like this with the product is beyond me, and as far as i'm concerned is a good sign this is a second rate product and ought to be avoided. it works fine for me just now, but i saw better brands for just a few dollars more, and i am already regretting buying this one after having found out these valves are so poorly designed.

When doing it by myself, I just get out my mini electric deflater/ inflated, unscrew the whole valve system from just one side, then suck out the air fully. Just be quick to screw the valves back in tight when finished so it stays deflated. Then it will be thin enough to roll up and fit in the bag. Works for me!

Two people are ideal. Undo the end caps and roll it up flat as tight as possible. Do up end caps to prevent reinflation. Repeat, roll up again, undo and do up end caps. For the double mattress, do the above then fold it in half. Roll up to 9/10s the way. Remove end caps, let air escape, roll all the way and do up end caps. Repeat as many times as needed till it fits in the case.

Recommend getting single mattresses for this reason and a different brand. Great workout though!

I have a single mattress and am experienced at rolling other like ones up. I can’t roll the Dune 4wd supreme one up no matter what I try. Am going to take back for a refund as Anaconda doesn’t want to know about the problem with this product and can’t help.

You know if you unscrew the whole valve and flip it 180, it will click into the mattress outlet and work as a one way valve to deflate, so as you start rolling it up the air will escape but not re-enter the mattress. Took me a while to realise this. Personally I unscrew both valves completely, fold it and squash it down as much as possible to release as much air as possible, then click the one way valve in backwards to stop air coming back in, stretch it out and start rolling.

In your instruction leaflet you say “never store rolled up for long periods of time” as I bought this as a emergency/visitors mattress ! How long is too long?
